Set of 2 articles published around the 1940s about his life at the asylum where he experienced a short moment of sanity (2 pages), and about his life in Vienna (5 pages). Vintage lithograph showing 4 famous ballerinas, Marie Taglioni, Fanny Cerrito, Carlotta Grisi, and Lucile Grahn, dancing the Pas de Quatre created by Jules Perrot and danced in London on July 12th, 1845 with music by Cesare Pugni. This lithograph depicts a watercolor attributed to Alfred Edward Chalon (1780-1860), and was created by artist Thomas Herbert Maguire (1821-1895).  Size is 13.4 x 16.3 inches, is mounted on hard cardboard, has a repaired horizontal crack over the center-left border, and has been hand colorized in several places. In overall very good condition, rare.

Russian star prima ballerina of the late 19th and early 20th century (1881-1931), she became the first ballerina to tour around the world. Beautiful porcelain replica of Pavlova's funerary mask. Dimensions are 6.5 x 10.5 x 5 inches, in excellent condition.
