Original vintage program for a performance of Faust, Feb 25th, 1884, at National Theatre, Washington DC, with the same cast that just a few months earlier (Oct 22nd, 1883) opened the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, in the first performance of the company ever. This is the Italian Opera Company, managed by Henry Abbey and Maurice Grau, on tour. Cast includes Christine Nilsson, Campanini, Novara, Del Puente, Scalchi, Lablache, with Vianesi and Campanini as conductors.  Four pages, 10.25 x 13.9 inches, see scans of pages 1 and 4, damage on the spine/joint section since this program was apparently bound in a volume, otherwise in very good condition.
