French composer and music critic (1803-1856), prolific creator of ballets and operas, Adam is best known for his ballets Giselle (1841) and Le Corsaire (1856).
Autograph letter signed, discussing about the publication of his operas with an unknown recipient. One sheet folded, written on both sides of the same fold (see scans of front and verso, and translation), each page is 5.25 x 8.25 inches. In French, sold with a translation into English, in very good condition.
