Star Spanish soprano (1887-1960), her voice had a unique timbre and transparent quality unlike any present-day singer. One of the favorite singers of the Metropolitan Opera House. Signed card, beautifully matted with an original program clip for the American premiere of Snegourotchka (The Snow Maiden, opera by Niclas Rimsky-Korsakov), where she performed the title role, at the Met Opera in 1922. Also included in the mat, a print from The Musical America magazine from 1922, about this premiere, with an image of her.
