Irish-born American composer and conductor (1859-1924). Herbert is best known for composing many successful operettas that premiered on Broadway from the 1890s to World War I.

Great signed photo with a music quote, dated in 1920, inscribed. The music quote is from his "Petite Valse", part III of the "3 pieces for cello and piano" he composed between 1900 and 1906. Size is 7.25 x 9 inches. Also included is a letter handwritten and signed by him, briefly apologizing for a delay in sending this autograph. This is a very nice pair

Photo has storage holes and a couple of scratches over the top right - neither affect his image or writing. Overall in very good condition, letter is in excellent condition

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
