Famous Polish harpsichordist (1879-1959) and pianist, whose performances and recordings greatly helped revive harpsichord music and enjoyment during the 20th century. In 1931, Landowska became the first to record Bach´s Goldberg Variations on the harpsichord. Great photo of her, shown young, mounted on a large size mat, signed by her and dated in 1909. Signed mat is 8 x 12.25 inches (mat), photo is 4.75 x 6.5 inches, inscribed, in excellent condition
