Austrian soprano (1844-1918) best known for Wagnerian roles, appearing as Brunnhilde in the first complete Ring Cycle in Bayreuth in 1876, and starring in the world premiere performances of Siegfried, Die Gotterdammerung and Parsifal, also at Bayreuth, as well as the title role at the première of Karl Goldmark's Die Konigen von
Saba in Vienna. Autograph note signed, dated in 1884, written in German, sold untranslated. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.
