Russian-born American violinist (1903-1992), one of the finest of the 20th century. 

Beautiful black and white photograph of the violinist shown young in performance signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated in Bucharest, on November 22nd, 1930, mounted on hard cardboard.  Total size is 7 x 8.5 inches, minor silvering, smudges on the first letter, and a bit on the signature, otherwise in excellent condition.
