French pianist, composer and teacher (1852-1914), the first famous pianist to make recordings. Pugno was well known for his interpretations of Mozart works.
Autograph letter signed by him, dated in 1901, in French, sold untranslated. Two pages, each written only on one side with signature on the second page. Pages are sized 5.25 x 7 inches, have folds, in excellent condition.
Also included are: 1) a vintage photo, 4 x 6 inches, inscribed, with a signature at the bottom. Signature is partially cut, photo is mounted on a larger piece of paper, size is 4.6 x 7.25 inches, excellent condition, 2) an unsigned photo postcard of him, 3.5 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition.
