Italian composer and musicologist (1879-1936), also violinist and musicologist, known mostly for his tone poems. Signed photo postcard, dated in Rome in 1933, inscribed to famous bass Carlo Tagliabue, in Respighi´s own writing "superb "Pellegrino" in Maria Egiziaca" (his 1928 opera). Size is 4 x 6 inches, minor silvering around borders, otherwise in excellent condition.
