German composer and conductor (1866-1936). Autograph letter signed, dated in 1913, Baden-Baden. 1 paged, in German, about music business. Size is 8.25 x 9.5 inches, mount traces on verso and minor stains and folds, otherwise in very good condition.

German conductor and composer (1875-1937), was in charge of the Dresden Philharmoinic 1929-32 among other orchestras in Germany, focused on late romanticism pieces and the dissemination of works by Richard Strauss, toured extensively and died while on tour. As a composer, created songs, chamber music and smaller orchestral works. Signed card attached to a cardboard with a photo, with a short sentiment, dated in 1932. Also included is an unsigned photo postcard of the conductor and composer, sizes are 4 x 5.75 for the signed piece, and 3.25 x 5.5 inches for the unsigned photo postcard, both in excellent condition.

American composer (1929-2018), mostly known for his Broadway show "The Fantasticks" which run for 42 years straight at Broadway.  Fine black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him, dated in 1969.  Size is 3.4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

German conductor (1835-1916), composer and music teacher. Short autograph letter signed, postmarked in 1916, Munich; in German (sold untranslated). Size is 5.5 x 3.5 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a small modern photo of him, size 3.3 x 5.3 inches.

German conductor (1911-1974), who specialized in conducting opera. Beautiful photograph signed by him, ink-stamped with his name on verso as well; photograph is also ink-stamped on verso by photographer Lichtbildner.  Size is 4.2 x 5.6 inches, crease over the right border, otherwise in excellent condition.

Polish-born German conductor (1894-1966), former conductor of the Hannover State Opera (years 1949-1960). Signature matted with a photo, dated by him in 1936. Total mat size is 8 x 11.5 inches, signature is 4 x 2.5 inches, photo is 2.5 x 3.5 inches

Hungarian-born French conductor (1903-1989), particularly associated with Wagner and the post-romantic repertory.  Signed photo shown young, inscribed and dated in Buenos Aires in 1931. Size is 7 x 8 inches. Photo by Thérese, in very good condition.

Fine 9-bar music quote from an unidentified piece signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1892. Size is 7.5 x 3.4 inches, central fold, in very good condition.

French conductor (1826-1893). Autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by him, dated in Paris, January 23, 1888, addressed to Mr. Kasler to arrange a meeting. Size is 4.5 x 7.1 inches, 1 written page, folds, in overall very good condition.

Polish conductor (1928-2014), also known as Jerzy Semkow, associated for 5 years with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Fine black and white photograph signed by him, ink-stamped on verso by photographer Boris Goldenberg.  Size is 6.4 x 9.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian-American conductor (1893-1967), nephew of famous conductor Boston Symphony Orchestra: Serge Koussevitzky. Autograph music quote signed, with two bars from an unknown piece, with a short sentiment. Size is 6 x 2.9 inches, in very good condition.

Russian-born American conductor (1893-1967), nephew of renowned conductor Serge Koussevitzky. Autograph letter in English signed by him about professional issues and a future trip to Europe. Size is 5.9 x 7.3 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet, central fold, in excellent condition.

Russian-American conductor (1891-1967), long time conductor of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, later continued his career in Miami, also conducted the Philadelphia Chamber String Orchestra - Sevitzky was the nephew of star conductor Serge Koussevitzky.  Signed photo, shown conducting the Philadelphia Chamber String Orchestra, inscribed and dated in Boston in 1932. Blind stamped on front and also ink-stamped on verso by photographer Kubey-Rembrandt Studios, Philadelphia, 10 x 8 inches in size, in excellent condition.

American conductor (1916-1999), most famous for his work with his namesake Robert Shaw Chorale, as well as with the Cleveland Orchestra and Chorus, and his long leadership of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, made many recordings. Signed photograph, shown young, inscribed. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.
