Turkish twins, both classical pianists (b.1953) performing regularly as a duet. Great photo signed by both sisters, 8.5 x 6.5 inches. Photo has a small fold over the upper left corner not affecting the signatures, otherwise in excellent condition

Austrian pianist and composer (1875-1950), made numerous concert tours around Europe and left some good early piano recordings. Nice half-tone photograph signed by him, this is a program page that has been signed and matted, ready to frame (can be easily removed from the mat if desired). Total size is 7.75 x 11.75 inches, opening is 5 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

Lithuanian-born French pianist (1904-2002). Album page signed by him with a short sentiment, dated in 1962; signed on verso as well by the Italian-born British violinist Alfredo Campoli (1906-1991) -not shown.  Size is 8.1 x 6.25 inches, in excellent condition.

French pianist (1822-1908), composer, and music professor.Set of four autograph letters in French (untranslated) signed by him, dated 1890 and 1902, concerning the details around the publication with Giudici & Strada of his “Romance sans paroles” op. 166, the composition and dedication of a “Gavotte” and other compositions such as “Une Pluie mélodique”, “Les Caprices de Colombine” and others. American pianist and teacher.  Large photo signed and dated by him in 1927.  Also signed at the bottom in pencil by photographer (illegible name).  Size is 9.75 x 13.8 inches, rust stains over upper border and minor loss of paper over lower right corner, otherwise in good condition.

Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) on soft cardboard signed by him, dated January 18, 1897, to a certain “Maestro don Giovanni”: “… Voir mon nom de pianiste, somme toute, en tête de cette belle pièce d’orgue di liturgique me fait croire pour un instant que j’ai l’honneur de faire partie de cette noble phalange des organistes pour qui j’ai autant d’admiration (…) Notre ami Border vient de faire une tournée dans notre région avec vingt-inq de ses chanteurs; l’impression en restera et il rêve déjà de renouveler dans notre pays nos fêtes de l’an dernier à Bilbao…”. Size is 5.6 x 4.3 inches, 2 written pages, creases, with letterhead "Mont-de-Marsau", in overall very good condition.

Belgian concert pianist (1811-1875), one of the most admired pianists of the 1830s and became chair of the piano department of the Brussels Conservatoire in 1848. Beautiful autograph letter signed by the pianist, written in French (sold untranslated), dated in 1854. Size is 5.2 x 8.1 inches, folds, otherwise in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a small envelope handwritten by her, postal-stamped in 1854 (not shown in scans), in very good condition.

French pianist, composer, and teacher (1852-1914), the first famous pianist to make recordings. Autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by him, no specific date, where he addresses a gentleman: “…Le concerto de Castellin m’a paru tellement mériter d’être remis en lumière qui je considère comme un devoir d’artiste d’intéresser à sa présentation les vrais amis de la grande musique, cert qui ne peuvent rester indifférents à une des oeuvres capitales non seulement de ce compositeur, mais encore de notre jeune école…”. Size is 4.8 x 7.2 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet (front and back), overall rust tone, central fold, in overall very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a printed 1-page program for Pugno’s 24th of November 1903 concert along with Ines Maria Ferraris.

Pages are sized 5.25 x 7 inches, have folds, in excellent condition. Also included are: 1) a vintage photo, 4 x 6 inches, inscribed, with a signature at the bottom. Signature is partially cut, photo is mounted on a larger piece of paper, size is 4.6 x 7.25 inches, excellent condition, 2) an unsigned photo postcard of him, 3.5 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition.

French virtuoso pianist (1818-1906), composer and teacher. Set of two autograph letters signed, 1 page each one, dated in 1874 and 1883. One of the letters has his initials in the letterhead, written in French, sold untranslated. Each one's size is 4.5 x 7 inches, in very good condition.

Scottish pianist (1861-1939), and composer, pupil of Theodor Leschetizky. 3-bar autograph music quote on cardboard from his "Flüchtiger Gedanke" Op. 27 #1 for piano signed by him and dated in Vienna, April 30, 1915. Size is 4.4 x 3.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Argentine pianist (1920-1973) who was a child prodigy and toured extensively in South America. An original photograph of the pianist by Annemarie Heinrich signed and dated by Regules in 1950. Size is 4.5 x 6.8 inches, some stains, in overall very good condition.

Set of 2 autograph letters in Portuguese (sold untranslated) sent to one of his friends dated 1915 and 1916.  Each one in 1 sheet written on the front and verso. Sizes are 6.8 x 8.75 inches (some folds) and 6.25 x 8.6 inches (folds and minor cracks), in overall very good condition.

German-born French pianist (1873-1929), a remarkable performer of Beethoven music. Collection of 9 autograph letters signed by him, dated between 1894 and 1923. Letters are addressed to music figures such as the violinist and composer Armand Parent (1863-1934) and concern music programs for concerts, meetings, theater seats, and a recommendation of her pupil “Mademoiselle Vessen”. For a total of 10 pp. in-8 and in-16 and on visiting card. ALSO INCLUDED is an autograph letter signed, dated le May 1, 1897, by the harpist and music teacher at Brussels Royal Conservatory Jean Risler (1865-1932) addressed to the pianist Louise Filliaux-Tiger (1848-1916), concerning the impossibility to get seats for one of the “…4 séances Ysaye (…) parce-que tout est loué, qu’il ne reste aucune place…”.
