Canadian flutist and composer (b.1939). Signed photo, shown playing, inscribed and dated in 1994. Size is 10 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

New Zealand-born Australian flute player (1883-1964), who performed with orchestras around the world and made a career as an international soloist.  Larger size photograph mounted on a slightly larger black cardboard signed and inscribed with a short sentiment by the flutist, dated in 1928; photo by Ep. Short & Son, Nottingham.  Total size is 8 x 13.5 inches, actual photo is 5.5 x 8 inches, some silvering over the edges and stains over the upper border, in overall good condition.

American organist (1917-2005), choir master, and founder of the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. Black-and-white photograph inscribed and signed by him with a short sentiment. Size is 5.1 x 6.9 inches, some creases, in overall very good condition.

English harpist (1804-1871), who made most of his career touring and as a professor of The Royal Academy of Music. Fine autograph letter signed, one page, size is 5 x 8 inches, in English, sold un-transliterated, in very good condition.

Brazilian virtuoso guitarist, arranger and professor (b. 1944), signed photo, inscribed and dated in 1992. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Cuban classical guitarist (b. 1952), who extensively toured and recorded across the United States. Signed photo, inscribed. Size is 8 x 10 inches.  

German classical guitarist (1933-1990) and composer, who conducted the newly founded German Plucked String Orchestra between 1968 and 1990.  Signed color promo photograph by Deutsche Grammophon. Size is 4 x 6 inches, in excellent condition.

Dutch flutist (1807-1872) and professor at the Swedish Academy of Music. Autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by him, dated in Utrecht, May 1, 1855, where he addresses the flute manufacturer Godfroy, asking for an exchange of flutes: “…je vous voudrais bien demander d’avoir la bonté de me permettre de la renvoyer et d’avoir en échange pour elle le flûte avec 12 clarets que vous m’avez envoyé…”.  Size is 5.4 x 8.4 inches, 1 written pages, folds and creases, overall age toning, dust and rust stains, in overall good condition.

Early music ensemble based in Boston and founded in 1954. Photo signed by four members, included Carol Lewis (viola da gamba), Joel Cohen (harp), Jesse Lepkoff (flute) and one unidentified member. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

British virtuoso horn player (1921-1957), largely credited for popularizing the instrument as a solo classical instrument. After leaving several legendary recordings, Brain died in a car accident at age 36. Signature on an autograph album page, matted with a photograph of him and his horn, a modern print. Total mat size is 11.75 x 14.2 inches, signature is 3.6 x 2.2 inches (lower window opening size), top photo is 5.7 x 3.8 inches (upper window opening size). All in excellent condition. Quite rare!

Canadian-American clarinetist (b. 1949), who is also a teacher. Signed promo photo, inscribed, with some music notes. Size is 8 x 9 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian composer (1895-1968), pianist, and writer, best known as one of the foremost guitar composers in the XX Century.  Printed score for the piece "La Vita Nova" for piano and voice, signed and inscribed by him on the first page, dated in Beverly Hills, California, 1958.  Size is 9 x 12 inches, full score with all pages and covers (front cover is loose), minor rust on edges, in very good condition.

Brazilian folk singer and guitarist (1909 -2008), lot of 4 signed programs from concerts presented in New York, Washington, D.C. and for the Pan American Union dating from 1943 to 1963. Sizes range from 5.5 x 8.5 inches to 6.75 x 9.75 inches, in excellent condition. Not sold separately. 

Italian harpist (1892-1964). Fine album page signed by her with a long sentiment in Italian dated in Bologna, April 18th, 1912. Size is 5.75 x 4.25 inches in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an album page signed by probably her sister or mother Emma Consolini, same size and date than Gabriella's.

French composer, organist, and music teacher (1837-1924).  Large photograph mounted on a mat, inscribed and signed by Dubois on the mat (also there is a signature in pencil by the photographer).  Total size is 8.75 x 12 inches (actual photo is 4.75 x 8.5 inches), signs of wear, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

Famous Dixieland-style revival band, created in 1974 after the original Dukes disbanded. Nice promo photo, signed by 6 members including Frank Trapani (trumpet), Mike Sizer (clarinet), Frank Hooks (trombone), Phamous Lambert (piano), Duke (Danny) Barker (guitar) and Danny Rubio (tuba). Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Irish virtuoso flute player (b.1939), who established an international career as a solo flute player. Gorgeous larger size color Cibachrome* print photo signed and dated by the star flute player in 1981, shown in rehearsal in Philadelphia; also signed on verso by photographer Allen Winigrad.  Size is 14 x 11 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition. *Cibachrome prints are high-quality prints from color transparency enlarged onto reversal color paper. This paper already has the emulsion incorporated and gives exceptional color brilliance.
