Original book from 1922, publised by La Follia di New York by Marziale Sisca, who was a friend of Caruso. Sisca asked him permission to publish this beautiful compendium of his caricatures, with hundreds of them depicting famous conductors, singers, musicians, and many of Caruso himself!.

This is the 1922 edition that came just after Caruso´s death, and is signed by it´s author, Marziale Sisca, inscribed to the notable Italian baritone Ferruccio Corradetti (1869-1939).

Large size (10.75 x 15.5 inches), approx. 180 unnumbered pages, complete with both covers. In original condition, very good condition

American soprano (1878-1919) who developed a very successful international career in her time, died at the age of 40 after 8 years of illness in retirement. Signed text quote "When you know not what to say - do not say you know not what". Dated on December 25th, 1907 in New York, with her signature across.

Quote is nicely matted with a cabinet photo of her by Dupont, size is 13.75 x 9.75 inches (total), 4.1 x 5.75 inches (autograph note, visible window size), and 3.75 x 5.75 inches (photo, visible window size), in excellent condition. Rare!
