Autograph letter signed, discussing about the publication of his operas with an unknown recipient. One sheet folded, written on both sides of the same fold (see scans of front and verso, and translation), each page is 5.25 x 8.25 inches. In French, sold with a translation into English, in very good condition.

French composer (1782-1871), who focused mostly on opera, composing almost 50 of them - his most important creations include Fra Diavolo and La Muette de Portici.

Autograph letter signed by him, dated in Paris on January 31st, 1849, to the director of an opera house, on letterhead from the Conservatoire National de Musique et Declamation, Paris. Letter is in French, and is sold untranslated. Auber respectfully asks to borrow a few accessories only to be found in this person´s theater, for an upcoming performance of La Gazza Ladra (La Pie Voleuse, in French) by students of the Conservatoire. Auber mentions that in the past, a previous director has agreed to help.

One page, sized 5 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian composer (1837-1910) and also pianist and conductor, known today mostly for his work promoting the music of his country. Balakirev was one of the group of Russian nationalist composers known as The Five (together with Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov, Cui and Mussorgsky).

Autograph letter signed, dated in 1909, asking a friend to go to the pharmacy for medicine for him, and stating how hard it has been to get his prescription filled. Also included is the prescription. Autograph letter is one page, 4.5 x 7.5 inches, in Russian, sold untranslated, has a small repair, otherwise in very good condition. Prescription is 8.75 x 11 inches, in excellent condition.

Letter handwritten and signed by him, dated in Paris, May 22nd, 1835 - this is shortly before his death in September of the same year. Written in Italian, sold untranslated, Bellini is asking someone to help his friend Count Barbó who is coming to Paris. One page, 5.25 x 8 inches, in excellent condition. 

Also included is a vintage print of the composer, a nice addition to this letter if you wish to frame them together. Size is 6.5 x 10.25 inches, in excellent condition. See scans.

Signed ticket pass for 2 people, for the last rehearsal of his last opera, "I Puritani", which was world premiered at the Theatre Royal Italien in Paris, January 24th 1835.  World premiere included super star singers such as Grisi, Rubini, Tamburini and Lablache.

Ticket size is 5.25 x 3.75 inches, mounted on a slightly wider piece of paper to a total width of 5.6 inches. Bold, very clear Bellini signature on the lower right. A very rare, cute and truly amazing piece of memorabilia.

Poster signed by the American conductor and composer (1918-1990), and librettist Sam Wadsworth, for the world premiere of Bernstein´s 1-act opera "A Quiet Place". This performance took place in Houston, Texas, June 17th, 1983, together with another opera by Bernstein, "Trouble in Tahiti". After this widely criticized and quite unsuccessful premiere of "A Quiet Place", Bernstein and Wadsworth revised the opera cutting some scenes, incorporating "Trouble in Tahiti" in a new, second act of a 3-act version of this opera.

Size is 18.5 x 25.5 inches, some overall yellowish tone that is not present on borders (since this was kept framed), otherwise in very good condition.
