Belgian soprano (1875-1968), who sang in the world premiere of Le Chemineau by Xavier Deroux.  Signed photograph, shown in role in Beethoven's Fidelio, inscribed in Paris, dated in 1906. This is a 3.5 x 6.5 photo mounted onto soft cardboard (signature and inscription is directly on the photo), total item is 4 x 8.25 inches, small tear on the bottom right of the cardboard, otherwise in excellent condition.

French baritone (1848-1935), particularly associated with the French repertory and Mozart roles. Fine black-and-white cabinet photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment in French dated 1898. Size is 7.5 x 9.6 inches, some stains, light damage in all four corners, in overall good condition.

Total item size is 8.5 x 12 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition

Size is 8 x 11.25 inches, very slight paper loss on edges and mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian bass (1862-1931), signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed and dated in Berlin in 1903. Clear and bold handwriting and signature. Blind stamped on front by photographer. This is a very attractive vintage 6.25 x 8.5 inch photo, mounted on solid cardboard, total item size is 8.5 x 11.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, blind-stamped on the front by photographer Adolfo Ermini (Milan), some silvering, otherwise in excellent condition.

American coloratura soprano (1886-1963) who sang at the Metropolitan Opera from 1914 to 1921. Nice black-and-white photograph signed by her, shown as herself; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Cronhart & Monios (Baltimore). Size is 7.8 x 9.8 inches, minor damage over borders, in overall very good condition.

Italian tenor (1875-?), whose full name was Galileo Ainor Gasparri, sang mostly in Italy but also made successful guest appearances in Sydney and Kiev. His wife was the legendary French soprano Emma Calvé. Signed photograph, shown as Don Jose in Bizet's Carmen, dated in 1923. Stamped on verso by photographer Aime Dupont. Size is 5 x 7 inches, small tear on bottom right, otherwise in very good condition. 

Spanish tenor (1892-1975) and husband of celebrated soprano Fidela Campiña. Large photograph signed by him, dated in 1934, Bologna, Italy. Mat is also signed by photographer C. Giglio. Photo's size is 7.9 x 10.9 inches mounted on a mat of 10 x 14.1 inches in size, spotted rust, some silvering, in good condition.

Spanish tenor (1892-1975) and husband of celebrated soprano Fidela Campiña. Signed photograph, shown in role, inscribed and dated in 1928. Size is 6.75 x 9.25 inches, small spots on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

Catalan mezzo-soprano (1876-1943) and wife of the celebrated tenor Giovanni Zenatello.  Large photo signed by her, shown as herself, dated in 1912; and also signed in pencil by the photographer (illegible name).  Size is 9.1 x 12.8 inches, small crack at the bottom and left border, small loss of paper over the upper-left corner, otherwise in very good condition.

Star Spanish tenor (1844-1890), considered one of the best singers of the late part of the 19th century. Gayarre created the role of Enzo in the world premiere of La Gioconda and Marcello in the premiere of Il Duca d`Alba.  Large print, showing him as Nadir in Les Pecheurs de Perles (The Pearl Fishers), opera by Bizet, one of his most celebrated roles - and the last one he performed on stage in the infamous night he lost his voice at Teatro Real in Madrid, just 25 days before his death. Boldly signed by Gayarre at the top, inscribed to a nobleman, size is 8.6 x 9.75 inches, in excellent condition. Very rare!!

Star Spanish tenor (1844-1890), considered one of the best singers of the late 19th century, and creator of the role of Enzo in the world premiere of La Gioconda and Marcello in the premiere of Il Duca d'Alba.  Larger size engraving print of Gayarre by B. Maura (Madrid, 1880), boldly signed by the star tenor, inscribed to the Spanish author and speaker Faustino Sanchez Gil (1850-1896).  Size is 12.25 x 16 inches, minor rust stains on edges, otherwise in excellent condition.

Swedish tenor (1925-2017). German soprano (1919-1988). Fine black-and-white photo postcard signed by both singers plus Graziella Sciutti and Christa Ludwig, shown in Mozart's opera "Così fan Tutte".  Size is 5.75 x 3.8 inches, crease over the lower-right corner, Gedda's signature over the dark area (not clearly visible in scan), otherwise in excellent condition.

Austrian soprano (1833-1903), known in Vienna as the queen of operetta. Fine cabinet photograph signed by her, shown as herself; and original by Julius Gertinger, Vienna. Size is 4.4 x 6.6 inches, storage holes at the top and the bottom, otherwise in very good condition.

French tenor (1899-1971), known for performing important roles at the Opera Comique and later at the Paris Grand Opera. Beautiful photograph signed and inscribed by him, shown in role. Photograph is also signed on the front by photographer Bonfort, Marseille.  Size is 6.5 x 8.9 inches, with some jagged edges, otherwise in excellent condition.

American mezzo-soprano and film actress (1885-1958), appeared as La Frugola in the world premiere production of Puccini's Il Tabbaro at the Metropolitan Opera, New York in 1918. Signed photograph, shown most likely in role, inscribed.  Printed signature on front and stamped on verso by photographer James Hargis Connelly, Chicago. Size is .8 x 10 inches, small bullet holes on edges, otherwise in very good condition.

American mezzo-soprano (1885-1958). Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her, dated 1910, shown in Bizet's "Carmen"; blind-stamped on the front by photographer Mishkin, New York. Size is 3.8 x 5.3 inches, pinhole over the upper border, minor silvering, in very good condition.

American mezzo-soprano and film actress (1885-1958), appeared as La Frugola in the world premiere production of Puccini's Il Tabbaro at the Metropolitan Opera, New York in 1918. Signed photograph, shown most likely in role, inscribed.  Printed signature on front of photographer Fernand De Gueldre, Chicago. Size is .9.5 x 14 inches, small crease on top right, otherwise in very good condition.

Austrian soprano (1896-1975), known for her interpretation of works by Richard Strauss.   Nice photograph mounted on a mat, signed and inscribed by the soprano to Music Director Max Ast, dated in 1926.  Photograph is blind-stamped on the front by photographer Ellinger, Salzburg; and also signed in pencil by the photographer over the lower-right corner.  Total size is 9.5 x 12.6 inches, actual photo is 6.4 x 8.3 inches, in excellent condition.

Slovakian soprano (1855-1920), one of the stars of the Academy of Music in New York, later became a voice teacher. Signed cabinet photograph, shown as herself. dated in Cassel, Germany in 1879, inscribed. Photo by W. Kurtz, New York. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

Bulgarian bass (1929-2004), one of the most famous bass singers of the postwar period. Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed by him, shown in the title role of Mussorgsky's opera "Boris Godunov". Photograph is also signed by an unidentified person (not clearly visible). Size is 7 x 9.3 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian bass (1868-1910). Fine photo postcard shown in role, signed and inscribed by the bass to famous conductor Italo Campanini, dated in New York, 1909. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Montacchini, Parma. Size is 9 x 11.5 inches, small creases on top and bottom right edges, otherwise in very good condition.
