Canadian tenor (1878-1959), also known as Edoardo Di Giovanni, recognized for his roles in Pelleas et Melisande, Romeo et Julliette. When his singing career ended, he became the director of the Metropolitan Opera of New York from 1935 to 1950. 

Signed photo, shown as Aethelwold in Kings Henchman, opera by Deems Taylor. A role he created for the World Premier in 1927. Inscribed. Size is 7.5 x 9.75 inches, in very good condition.

German tenor (1873-1947), after his debut in 1896 sang in Zurich, Hamburg and the Berlin Court Opera, with guest appearances in other theaters. Sang at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 1909, then associated with the Met for 5 years. Jorn was the first German tenor to make complete opera recordings in 1908. Great Signed photo in role, handwritten by Jorn: "As Hans in The Bartered Bride, First performance...Gustav Mahler Feb 1909". Inscribed and signed by him, an original photo by Mishkin, New York, 5.25 x 7.25 inches. Photo has a small crease on the top left, not affecting the image, otherwise in excellent condition - rare!
