Canadian tenor (1878-1959), also known as Edoardo Di Giovanni, recognized for his roles in Pelleas et Melisande, Romeo et Julliette. When his singing career ended, he became the director of the Metropolitan Opera of New York from 1935 to 1950.
Signed photo, shown as Aethelwold in Kings Henchman, opera by Deems Taylor, inscribed. A role he created for the world premiere in 1927. Size is 7.5 x 9.75 inches, in very good condition.
