Danish tenor (1827-1906), who developed an important career in Europe 1852-85 performing over 140 roles, then dedicated his life to teach and compose. Signed half-tone photo playbill, shown as Lohengrin, announcing a performance of his opera "The Gipsy Bride". Size is 5.5 x 9.5 inches. Item has 2 barely visible folds, otherwise in excellent condition.

German super star soprano (1806-1854) of international fame. Sontag was the soprano of choice for the soprano solo in the world premiere of Beethoven´s 9th Symphony and in his Missa Solemnis. She also created the title role in Euryanthe, opera by Carl Maria von Weber, later in 1854 Sontag entoned Mexico´s national anthem for the first time. Signature on card, matted with a very nice vintage print of her - rare! Total mat size is 9.5 x 12 inches, image is 3.25 x 4.25 inches (visible window size), signature is 3.75 x 2 inches (visible window size). In excellent condition.

Signed photo, shown as Pamyra in Le Siege de Corinthe, opera by Rossini. Size is 8 x 10 inches. Also included a cast page from a Metropolitan Opera program for a performance of this opera, with Sills in the cast and two ticket stubs.
