English soprano (1883-1972), signed postcard photograph, shown as herself, inscribed and dated in 1918. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, very small creases on edges, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Romanian soprano (1925-2023) who sang leading roles in the opera houses of Europe and North America, known for the dramatic intensity, beauty, and wide range of her voice. Signed photograph, shown backstage with composer Francois Poulenc (Zeani performed in the world premiere production of his opera Dialogues des Carmelites at La Scala, Milan). Signed color photograph, shown as Anthony in Samuel Barber's Anthony & Cleopatra, at the World Premiere of the work at The Metropolitan Opera in 1966, which also marked the opening night of the new Metropolitan Opera House in Lincoln Center. Swiss-born American composer (1880-1959), recognized as one of the most significant Swiss composers in history. Photograph signed by him on verso, inscribed in Rome and dated in 1953, surrounded by the mezzo-soprano Gianna Pederzini , bass Nicola Rossi-Lemeni and conductor Gianandrea Gavazzeni and an additional man backstage at a performance of the composer's Macbeth. Stamped on verso by photographer Oscar Savio. Size is 7 x 9.25 inches, small creases on edge and slight paper loss, otherwise in very good condition. 

French singer (1863-1927), poet and composer. Short autograph note in French written and signed by him in 1907 on his own stationery addressed to the French Arts Critic Léon Maillard acknowledging a kind letter and arranging an upcoming meeting.  Size is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, 1 written page in 1 folded folio, in excellent condition.

French composer (1863-1937), conductor, pianist, and organist. Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) written and signed by the composer (probably in 1897 according to pencil markings at the top) where he discusses sending the musical material for La Sérénade to a certain Colombine, mentioning conductors Alexandre Luigini (at the Villa des Fleurs, Aix-les-Bains) and Mirande (Concerts Bellegarde, Lyon).  Size is 4.4 x 7 inches, 1 page, in excellent condition.

French composer (1844-1926) best known for his opera Patrie! which premiered successfully at the Paris Opera in 1886. Autograph letter in French written by the composer's widow (some time after the death of the composer in 1926) to a friend of the family where she states: "Dear Sir, I deeply regretted this morning having had to leave without shaking your hand. It was a sweet emotion for me to hear these melodies performed in such a charming way, these melodies that, four days before his death, my dear husband accompanied for one of my nieces!Thank you, dear Sir, for your thought, and please accept all my deepest and most moved sentiments. Mme Paladhile" Size is 7.1 x 8.25 inches, 1 page, central fold, in excellent condition.  

Italian composer (1771-1839), his career focused mostly on operas and oratorios.  Autograph letter in French written and signed by him in Paris on April 25, 1839, days before passing away:  "My dear Friend, I have sent to Mr. Vogt the letter of appointment as first oboist of the King's Music, which I received last night. I am delighted that this matter has finally been decided according to our wishes; I hasten to let you know, and I embrace you. Your very devoted, F. Paër. Paris, this 25th of April, 1839." This letter has historic significance because it mentions Gustave Vogt, a celebrated 19th-century European oboist and professor at the Paris Conservatoire, and was penned by Paër mere days before his death in Paris on May 3, 1839. Size is 7 x 9.4 inches, 1 page, overall rust tone, in excellent condition.

Gorgeous short autograph letter in Italian written and signed by the composer, no date mentioned, addressed to one of his friends sharing the success of one of his duets at Casa Torelli, inviting his friend to celebrate and collect their well-deserved prize. Size is 7.8 x 10.8 inches, 1 page, overall rust tone, clearly and boldly written, minor stains, in overall very good condition. English translation is ALSO INCLUDED.

French sculptor (1855-1913). Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) written and signed by him in 1893. Size is 5.25 x 8.2 inches, 4 written pages in 1 folded folio, in very good condition. Original envelope with letterhead is ALSO INCLUDED.

German composer (1891-1974) and conductor, who wrote piano works, chamber music, film scores, but mostly known for his musical comedies and operettas. Autograph letter in German (sold untranslated) written and signed by him on a card with his letterhead. Size is 5.9 x 4.1 inches, 1 written page, in excellent condition.

French-Irish composer (1847-1903) who wrote the texts to almost all of her vocal music herself, including songs, oratorios, the libretto for her opera La Montagne Noire and the programmatic poems for her symphonic poems including Irlande and Andromède. Nice autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) written and signed by her in 1893. Size is 4.4 x 7 inches, 3 written pages in 1 folded folio, in excellent condition.

English composer (1862-1934) whose music was characterized by his individual orchestration and use of chromatic harmony; though intermittently popular his works have been often subjected to critical attacks. Gorgeous 3-bar autograph music quote from an unknown piece signed and dated by him in 1921. Size is 7.75 x 3.25 inches, irregularly cut at the bottom, otherwise in very good condition.

Fine vintage carte-de-visite CDV photo by Sorgato Brothers (Bolognia & Venice) featuring Cotogni in his youth, signed and inscribed by him on verso.
