Italian-born American soprano (1909-2014), noted especially for her portrayals of the lyric heroines of Verdi and Puccini, and a leading artist with The Met Opera from 1940 to 1966. Autograph lot of 18 photos, all in role, some signed with just her name, others inscribed to the same person. She is shown in roles in operas such as La Traviata, Manon, La Boheme, Carmen, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Cavalleria Rusticana. Each one is 8 x 10 inches or similar size, all in very good condition. Famous Italian soprano (1855-1941), with a very important career that spanned only 20+ years. Autograph album handwritten by her with her artistic memories, starting with her debut in 1873, until her last performance in 1893. A total of 75 pages, in which she meticulously notes all her theatrical experiences, indicating for each the name of the work, the theater, other performers, the conductor of the orchestra, and the response. Some numbers likely refer to the payments received. A historical document of importance, that describes a singer´s career, written by her own hand - a quite unique piece. Album is 9 x 6 inches, covers show some wear, in overall very good condition. See scans.

American contralto (1892 -1935). Lot of 2 signed concert programs, signature cut, and one unsigned photograph, shown as herself. First program is from First Presbyterian Church (city unknown) from January 2, 1925 contains lots of penciled in-text along with Breslau's signature (last name only) in pen at bottom, 6.5 x 9.75 inches, some tape residue on back, otherwise in very good condition. The other program for a November 16, 1923 recital at the Plymouth Congregational Church (no city listed) is inscribed with her full signature at the top, folded 5.75 x 9.25 inch document, with some tape at the bottom and top and otherwise in excellent condition. Also included: one 3.25 x 4.75 inch signature cut, with mounting traces on verso but in otherwise excellent condition as well as one 3.75 x 7.75 unsigned photograph, shown as herself, mounting traces on verso but in otherwise excellent condition. Spanish tenor (b. 1946), one of the leading stars of French and Italian opera from the early 1970's to the 1990's.  Lot of 15 signed programs including complete operas and concert recitals presented in leading opera and concert centers including New York, Chicago, Barcelona, Vienna, Madrid and Parma between 1982 and 1987, all signed by him (one is also signed by Italian soprano Katia Ricciarelli).  Programs' size range from 4 x 8.5 inches to 6.75 x 9.5 inches, all in very good condition. French tenor (dates unknown), prominent in the early twentieth century. Lot of 5 signed photos, including 3 cabinet photos, shown in role in Le Jongleur de Notre Dame, Rigoletto, and Tosca, and 2 additional photos shown as himself. Cabinet photos are each 4.25 x 6.5 inches with additional very attractive images advertising the photographers and photo studios on verso (see scans). The other photos include one 5 x 7 inch item and a 3.5 x 5.5 inch photo postcard with a fairly faded image. All are in excellent condition, sold only as lot.

Austrian soprano and mezzo-soprano (b.1939) whose voice had great richness and power, and her strikingly handsome stage appearance and intense acting made her a compelling performer. Autograph photo lot including some of her most famous roles (operas include Elektra, Salome, Katya Kabanova, Hans Heiling, Rusalka, etc), photos taken in San Francisco, Met Opera (New York), Cologne, Zurich, Munich, Hamburg. Star Swedish soprano (1820-1887), known as the "Swedish Nightingale", she was one of the biggest opera stars of the 19th century.  Lot of 5 items including 2 unsigned vintage prints (lithographs), one of which is 8.5 x 10.75 inches, shown as herself, the other is a colorized 9.5 x 12 inch item, showing Lind as Marie in Donizetti's Fille du Regiment. Also included is an unsigned 2.25 x 4 inch Carte-de-Visite (CDV) photo as herself, 1 full concert program, and one signature cut, dated in Bristol, England in September, 1847. The signature cut is on a 3.5 x 7 inch document mounted onto a 6.25 x 8 inch piece of paper, slight tear at bottom, otherwise all of these vintage items are in very good condition. Two of them are on 2 written pages in one sheet; the third letter is 1 page.  All of them have the same size: 5.25 x 8.25 inches, with central folds, in excellent condition.
