A pioneer in the American animation industry, Disney holds the record for most Academy Awards earned by an individual, with 22 Oscar awards and 59 nominations. Beautiful signed photograph, making faces to a chimpanzee - Disney was a well-known animal lover - seated in his desk. On verso, the date September 1965 is written. Size is 10 x 8 inches, inscribed, in excellent condition.

Austrian neurologist (1856-1939), founder of psychoanalysis and prolific writer of articles and books. Short autograph letter signed by him, dated in 1935, on a card with his letterhead and his address on Bergasse St., Vienna (now museum). In German, Freud states "after discussing it with Dr hartmann, I decided to offer Dr Bibring the function of the second editor of our magazine", referring to famous Austrian psychologist Heinz Hartmann (1894-1970), Austro-Hungarian psychoanalyst Eduard Bibring (1894-1959) and the International Magazine for Psychoanalysis. Card is 3.3 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a photo of Freud in his house, 3.75 x 6 inches, a modern print, perfectly sized to frame with this letter if desired.

Indian activist (1869-1948) who played a fundamental role in the 1947 independence of India. The honorific title of Mahatma ("Venerable") is now worldwide used with his last name.  Handwritten postcard, Gandhi pens the address of an acquaintance receiving this postcard, probably a friend. On verso, now blank, there are still very faint traces of ink writing, unfortunately the text has been faded by the sun - Front is still in good condition and bears his handwriting. Overall toning and water smudge. Gandhi autograph material is very scarce and highly collectible.  ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned photo of him on a boat, a modern print. Autograph postcard is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, postmarked in Tenali, India, in 1934. Photo is 4.5 x 6.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Argentina marxist revolutionary (1928-1967), and a major figure in the Cuban revolution in 1959, and the early post-revolution period. "Che" Guevara has become a world-wide symbol of rebellion and part of popular culture. Signed diploma, called Emulacion Socialista (Socialist Emulation), a sort of competition between institutions and individuals, where they received diplomas and awards for their contributions to their new society. This diploma, dated on July 13th, 1964, was given to a worker for this leading work in an undetermined, non-basic profession, and is signed on the lower left corner by Guevara as "Che", who was then minister of Industry in the new Cuba, plus 2 other signatures (one of an administrative secretary, one of a Sindicate secretary. Guevara signs representing the PURS (Partido Unido de la Revolución Socialista, or United Party of the Socialist Revolution). Size is 12 x 9.9 inches, some spotted stains and minor creases, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a photograph of him, 6.5 x 9.75 inches, a modern print of an old image of him.

William (Bill) Hanna (1910-2001) and Joseph (Joe) Barbera (1911-2006) were American animators, cartoon artists and producers who worked together creating highly popular entertainment during part of the 20th century. Signed image depicting the characters from The Flintstones, their most famous success. Image includes a caricature version of them, seated on a table over near the lower right corner, and celebrating with a toast. Photo is signed by both star animators, and is 10 x 8 inches, has an extra authentication by Priority One Sports, who added a serial number in a small sticker over the lower right corner. In excellent condition.

Last king of France (1754-1793) before the French Revolution and the fall of monarchy in 1789. Louis became the King of France in 1774, at age 20, until the monarchy was finally abolished in September 1792. He was guillotined just 4 months later, in January 1793. Partially printed document with signed by him below, as the King of France, also signed by Armand Marc Comte de Montmorin (1745-1792), just before becoming Secretary of State for the Navy. Montmorin would also perish in the terrible year 1792, in prison. One page, in French, dated Aug 19th, 1797, shortly before the French Revolution. Size is 9.25 x 14.25 inches, some writing on verso in French with signatures and lacquer, untranslated. Minor cracks, folds, small stains, in overall good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a black and white photo of an oil painting depicting Louis XVI, by Antoine Callet - a modern print. Size is 8.5 x 11 inches, in excellent condition.

Rare signed photo, stamped by photographer on verso. Fantastic photo of the famous Life Magazine's 1945 "Times Square The Kiss". Photograph is signed by both Sailor George Mendonsa and nurse Greta Friedman. This photo is rated one of Life Magazine's most iconic photos in history, and depicts the celebration of V-J day and the end of World War II, was taken at Times Square in New York city. Mendonsa signs and writes "Times Square, V.J. Day 8/14/45, U.S.S the Sulllivans, 1942-1946, QM 1/C, and Greta signed and added a small sentiment plus place and date.  Size is 8 x 9.9 inches, certified authentic by JSA (numbered certificate on verso), plus of course, our own guarantee.
