Central cast page from a program for a performance of Wagner's Parsifal at the Metropolitan Opera House, New York, on March 26th, 1948, signed by the famous Danish-American tenor, the German baritone, and the celebrated American mezzo-soprano.  Total open size is 13.1 x 8.9 inches, central fold, in very good condition.

ALSO INCLUDED: 1 Autograph Letter Signed on Melchior's letterhead from his home "The Viking" in Beverly Hills, 2 pages, dated in 1941, 1 Autograph Note Signed (a postcard from the Essex House, New York), dated in 1951, both signed by Kleinchen, and 2 Autograph Letters Signed on Melchior's personal letterhead, 1 page each, 1 dated in 1944 and the other in 1948. All in excellent condition, sold only as lot.

Signed photo, shown as Siegmund in Der Ring des Nibelungen, handwritten by him "150 years of the birth of Richard Wagner - Siegmund", and his signature. Text and signature are on the light side, priced accordingly. Size is 8 x 10 inches, mounted on an acid-free-double mat 12.5 x 14.5 inches total size, in excellent condition and ready to frame if desired!

Photo is mounted on a double acid-free mat, together with a clip from a Metropolitan Opera program from 1940 for a performance of Siegfried with Melchior in the title role.

Program for a performance of "Arabian Nights", a musical with Lauritz Melchior as the Sultan. Performance at the Jones Beach Theater in the waterfront state park of the same name, in New York state. Melchior signed under his photo in his profile page, full program with all pages and covers, with many photos inside, circa 1955. Size is 8.5 x 11 inches, in excellent condition

Program for a recital in Prague, 1926 with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, signed on the cover by the legendary Danish tenor. Size is 12 x 9 cm, in good condition.

Program for a concert in Washington, 1937, signed on the first page by both artists. Size is 4.9 x 6.9 inches, 4 pages, storage holes, in very good condition.

French baritone (1843-1925), appeared in the world premiere of several operas including Victor Masse's Paul et Virginie and Saint-Saen's Le Timbre d' argent and made several recordings. Autograph letter signed, 2 pages on both sides of a single 5.25 x 8 inch document, written in French, sold untranslated.  Small creases and bends, otherwise in good condition.

French baritone (1843-1925), appeared in the world premiere of several operas including Berlioz's Damnation de Faust, Victor Masse's Paul et Virginie, and Saint-Saen's Le Timbre d' argent and made several recordings. Autograph letter signed, dated in 1880, written in French, sold untranslated. 4 folded pages of text, each is 4 x 6.5 inches, in excellent condition.

French baritone (1843-1925) who enjoyed a long career in the French capital across a broad range of operatic genres. Set of three autograph letters signed by him and other letters addressed to him by other personalities, plus one color lithograph of him shown in role, plus his personal card. Various sizes, in very good condition or better.

Italian baritone (b. 1929), signed photo, shown as Marcello in Puccini's La Boheme at the Teatro Massimo, Palerno, dated in 1955. Inscribed with sentiment. Blind stamped by Lillo Foto, Palermo. Size is 7 x 4.75 inches, significant bending on corners but otherwise in very good condition.

French-born ballet dancer (1924-2004), who had a very important international career in Europe and the USA. dancing for the Ballet Russe company under Massine, the ABT, Marquis de Cuevas company, and other important companies, and became a teacher at Julliard School for many years. Signed photo, shown in performance, 8 x 10 inches, inscribed, dated in 1960 when she was part of the Grand Ballet du Marquis de Cuevas in Paris, in excellent condition.

Italian soprano (1885-1967) and voice teacher. Autograph letter in Italian (untranslated) signed by her, dated March 20, 1914, to the impresario Fano: “…il signor Russell a Londra l’anno scorso mi promise di combinare con me per l’anno prossimo per Boston. Io desidero voi mi trattiate questo affare e vi prego telegrafare subito…”. In Boston her roles included Desdemona and Helen of Troy, with the Giacomo Puccini heroines at the centre of her repertory.  Open size is 10.6 x 7.2 inches, 2 written pages in one folded sheet, central fold, printed letterhead, storage holes, in overall very good condition.

Large signed photo, shown in role, inscribed and dated in New York in 1916, a photo by Bottini, Rome. Size is 8 x 15 inches, repaired cracks and paper loss on 3 corners, otherwise in good condition.

Signed photograph, shown in role, inscribed and dated in Buenos Aires in 1915.
