Grandson of Queen Victoria (1869-1931), via princess Helena and prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein. Fantastic collection of 3 autographed letters in English signed by the Duke with his pseudonym "Peter", addressed to the American actress Edna Goodrich; 2 typed letters addressed to Edna Goodrich signed by Ernest Wallach (probably the Duke's friend) dated in 1928 and 1931, the latter informing about the Duke's final illness and death in Berlin; plus an official carbon-copy of the Duke's last will and a small card by Wills Cigarrettes with an image of the Duke. Autograph letters' size is 5.25 x 7 inches each, Typed letters' size ar 8.4 x 11.5 inches (1931), and 6.8 x 8.75 inches (1928); last will's size is 8.4 x 11.5 inches.  7 items in total, in very good condition. German conductor (1903-1973). Fine black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed by him on verso with a short sentiment, dated in Rome, January 29, 1940. Size is 3.1 x 5 inches, light creases in all four corners, in very good condition.

Set of two autograph letters in Italian (untranslated) signed by her, one of them dated in Genoa 1855 to the impresario Guffanti discussing fees; and the other dated in Florence, 1871, addressed to Tartaglione, commenting about the operas she would love to sing in future engagements. Both letters are 3 written pages long, different sizes, some loss of paper, rust stains, in overall good condition (see scans provided for details). ALSO INCLUDED is a receipt signed by her, dated in Verona, 1856, for Austrian £7000. Size is 4.3 x 7.1 inches, in excellent condition.

Sizes range from 2.5 x 4 inches to 6 x 3.9 inches, all in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an original unsigned CDV or carte-de-visite, a photo by Le Jeune, Paris, 2.5 x 4.1 inches, ink writing on verso, in excellent condition. 

Famous Italian contralto (1826-1894). With the exception of Maria Malibran, she was considered the greatest contralto of the nineteenth century. Opera performance playbill from Theatre Royal in Dublin from 1849. Alboni is announced to sing as Amina in La Sonnambula (opera by Bellini) as well as in La Cenerentola (Rossini) and Don Pasquale (Donizetti) with other singers. Total frame size is 9 x 20.75 inches, playbill is 7.25 x 18.25 inches, in excellent condition

Playbill announcement for her debut concert in Philadelphia, Musical Fund Hall, Sept. 27th, 1852, with Luigi Arditi conducting. Size is 7.5 x 15.5 inches, some paper loss on borders, otherwise in very good condition, clean, with no rust.

Italian mezzo-soprano/contralto (1826-1894), also known as Marietta Alboni-Pepoli.  Signed album page, inscribed and dated in Paris, 1860, plus a photo of her attached at the top.  Album page is mounted on a mat of 11.8 x 15.75 inches (can be easily removed), mounted with photo corners.  Actual album page is 8.5 x 12 inches, minor rust stains, otherwise in very good condition.

American composer (1944-1998), pianist and organist, and distinguished pupil of Olivier Messiaen. Signed envelope with a few notes handwritten by him with a felt tip pen, mailed in 1969. Size is 6.5 x 3.7 inches, in excellent condition.
