Italian composer (1875-1954) and pianist, best known for his opera "Rizurrezione" and for having completed Puccini's "Turandot" in 1926, though having considerable success with several of his own works during his lifetime. Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Giacomelli, Venice, Italy.  Size is 7 x 9.4 inches, in very good condition.

American composer (1916-2011) and musical theorist, noted for his electronic music. Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him, dated in 1977. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

American composer (1894-1981), and also an arranger.  Wonderful black and white photograph (double-weight photo paper) shown at the piano, signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment. Size is 9.75 x 7.9 inches, small crack over the lower border, minor stains, otherwise in excellent condition.

German composer and conductor (1838-1920), famous for his violin and orchestral works.  Signature cut matted with a photograph of the composer. Signature cut is 3.5 x 1.75 inches (visible window size), total mat size is 7.6 x 12.6 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian composer (1895-1968), his career is well known for his guitar compositions, but he also successfully explored a wide variety of genres, including orchestral, concerts, chamber music, opera, film score, ballet, vocal and choral music. Signed photo postcard, dated by him in Florence in 1936. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

French composer (1860-1956), a pupil of Jules Massenet, and author of famous verismo opera Louise (1900),  symphonies, and songs. Beautiful cabinet photograph by Benque signed and inscribed by Charpentier.  Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, some rust stains, in overall good condition.

Mexican composer (1899-1978), and also a conductor, educator, and founder of the Mexican Symphony Orchestra. Black-and-white photograph signed by him; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Ricardo Salazar.  Size is 4.8 x 6.7 inches, mounting traces on verso, in good condition.

Italian composer (1866-1950), well-known for his operas Adriana Lecouvreur and L'Arlesiana. Original cabinet photograph of the composer by Guigoni & Bossi (Milan) signed and inscribed by the Cilea, dated in 1899. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, some stains, in overall very good condition.

American composer, teacher, writer and conductor (1900-1990), one of the most important composers from America in the 20th century. Signed photo, shown next to conductor Zubin Mehta, in the celebration of Copland´s 85th birthday. Size is 10 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

Scottish-born German composer and pianist (1864-1932), who created the famous opera Tiefland. Beautiful photo postcard signed by him. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, in superb condition. Rare!

French composer and teacher (1851-1931), one of the leading composers of his time in France, his works are worldwide performed today. Beautiful photo postcard signed by him with a short quote "author of the Chant de la Cloche" (his op.18).  Photo is blind-stamped on the front and also stamped on verso with blue ink by photographer Vanek, Prague. French composer, organist, and music teacher (1837-1924).  Large photograph mounted on a mat, inscribed and signed by Dubois on the mat (also there is a signature in pencil by the photographer).  Total size is 8.75 x 12 inches (actual photo is 4.75 x 8.5 inches), signs of wear, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

Argentine composer (1916-1983), regarded as one of the most important composers of the Americas in the XX century.  Beautiful black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated in 1953.  Size 4.7 x 7 inches, in very good condition.

Italian verismo opera composer (1867-1948), famous for composing Andrea Chenier and Fedora, his two most famous operas. Fantastic black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed with a short sentiment mentioning his opera "Fedora", dated in Rome, 1932.  Size is 3.2 x 5.2 inches, some silvering around borders, unidentified blind stamp on the front, in excellent condition.

Guernsey-born American composer (1859-1924), cellist and conductor, best known for his operettas from 1890 through the end of World War I.  Large signed photo, and original print by White, New York, inscribed and dated by him in 1920, with 2 bars of music from his opera "Natoma", one of his only 2 grand operas. Natoma was premiered in 1911 with a cast including Mary Garden and John McCormack. Size is 9.8 x 11.9 inches, small loss of paper on two corners, and a larger loss of paper over the bottom left corner that has been repaired with similar-color paper. See scan.

Irish-born American composer and conductor (1859-1924). Herbert is best known for composing many successful operettas that premiered on Broadway from the 1890s to World War I.  Large photo shown at the piano, inscribed (including 2 bars of music) and signed by him in 1918.  Size is 11.8 x 9.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Brochure promoting the recording of his works released by Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) in 1972, signed by him on the front cover with a music quote with 7 bars of music over the left border.  Size is 3.9 x 9 inches, 20 pages including covers, in excellent condition.

French composer (1858-1948), his career focused mostly on vocal music and opera (and created 7 of them), plus some orchestral works. Large signed photo, inscribed and dated in 1932, also signed in pencil by the photographer (illegible name). Photo is 8.75 x 11.25 inches, mounted on a mat that is 10.25 x 13.25 inches, in excellent condition.

French conductor (1812-1860) and publisher. Set of two hand-colorized vintage lithographs published by M & N Hanhart (London) mounted on hard cardboard, one of them signed by the conductor (the other has also his facsimile signature and with heavy signs of rust stain).  Size is 8 x 9.1 inches each (probably trimmed from a larger format), in very good condition. Soviet-Armenian composer (1903-1978) and conductor, considered one of the leading Soviet composers of his time. Fine photograph (cover of a full program) for a concert in Berlin by the composer conducting his own music. Eight pages with covers, sized 5.75 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition. Austrian composer (1857-1941). Fine black-and-white photograph signed by him with a long sentiment above, dated in Graz, on May 12, 1899, and with a music quote from his musical tragic comedy "Don Quixote" (premiered in 1898) over the bottom.  Total size is 4.1 x 6.4 inches, overall aging tone, in very good condition.

Hungarian composer, musicologist, pedagogue, linguist and philosopher (1882-1967), one of the most famous music figures of his country in the first half of the 20th century. Fine photograph signed and inscribed by him, dated in New York, 1965 (almost by the end of his life). Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

French composer (1876-1943) who perished tragically during a bombing in France during World War II.  Gorgeous black and white photograph signed and inscribed by the composer with a short sentiment, dated in February 1940.  Size is 5.75 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition.

English composer (b.1948) and musical theater impresario, famous for his music for theater musicals and film scores. Fine half-tone photograph signed by him mounted on a card. Size is 4.1 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned photograph of him shown at work. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian-American composer (1901-1988), famous for his series of Broadway Musicals, including My Fair Lady and Camelot. Fine black and white promo photograph signed by him. Size is 8 x 10 inches, minor damage over the upper right corner, not affecting the image, in excellent condition.

Italian composer (1885-1971) and conductor, whose reputation was subsequently diminished because of his early and continued avid support of Mussolini and Italian fascism. Fine photograph mounted on a mat where the composer signed and inscribed to the famous soprano Gina Cigna with the legend "Sire Halewyn magnificent interpreter", dated in Buenos Aires, 1932.  Photograph is also signed by the photographer Stoppani, Buenos Aires.  Total size is 7.6 x 11 inches (actual photo is 5.4 x 7.75 inches), in excellent condition.

Nice black and white photo postcard of the composer signed by her with a short sentiment, and also signed on verso by her with a long message in English to her fellow musician Kathleen Parlow, dated in 1924.  Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.
