Star British conductor and impresario (1879-1961), well known for his association with the London Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic orchestras. Large photograph signed by him with bold handwriting and signature, shown relatively young. Size is 9.25 x 11 inches, very slight paper loss and small crack on right, as well as some silvering not affecting image and signature, in overall very good condition.

English conductor (1879-1961), best known for his association with the London Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic orchestras. Fine photograph signed by him shown next to concert organizer Otto Eckhardt, dated in Buenos Aires, 1958; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Sling (Buenos Aires). Size is 6.9 x 9.1 inches, minor cracks, creases, in overall very good condition.

German opera conductor and composer (1871-1958), he was in charge of the (later) Berlin State Opera and other opera houses in Europe. Set of two half-tone photographs signed by him, one is on verso of the other. Size is 4 x 6.5 inches, in excellent condition. Argentine conductor (1890-1983) who began his career in the late 1920s at Teatro La Scala, Milan. His baton used for the world premiere of Constantino Gaito's opera La Sangre de las Guitarras on August 17, 1932, at Teatro Colon, signed by him and inscribed to Vicente Retta (1893-1967) who was the author of the poem on which the opera was based on. Length is 18.2 inches, in excellent condition.  

Italian conductor (1920-1956), elected by Toscanini as his "spiritual heir" since the beginnings of his career, died aged 36 in an aircrash. Autograph letter in Italian (untranslated) signed by him in New York, January 29th, no year. Size is 5.3 x 6.75 inches, 4 written pages in 1 folded sheet, in very good condition.

ALSO INCLUDED is a 4-page program for a performance of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra under his baton and signed by him over the upper-left corner. Original vintage cabinet photograph of the conductor by J.C. Schaarwachter (Berlin) boldly signed by Nikisch at the bottom; blind stamp over the lower-right corner indicates the year 1896. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, some rust stains and rust coloration at the top, in overall very good condition.

Inscribed to singer Michael Bohnen, for his beloved performance of Hans Sachs in Meistersinger.  Size is 6.4 x 9.6 inches, minor stains, in very good condition.

Hungarian-born American conductor (1897-1970) and composer, considered one of the 20th-century greatest conductors. Autograph letter in German signed by him and dated 1969, to composer Peter Thomas (1925-2020), concerning an upcoming meeting in Salzburg. Size is 5.8 x 8.2 inches, 1 page, storage holes, central fold, in overall excellent condition.

German-American conductor and violinist (1835-1905), the first music director and the founder of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.  Autograph music quote with 2 bars from Wagner's "Parsifal", dated on April 14, 1883, New York (shortly after Wagner's decease).  Size is 7.9 x 3.7 inches, folds, in excellent condition.
