French virtuoso pianist (1818-1906), composer and teacher. Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) signed by the composer and addressed to the Paris Conservatoire director Beaucherne in October 1868, according to some pencil markings. Size is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, folds, in excellent condition. Original envelope is included.  Rare!

Polish pianist (1898-1970) and Landauer an Austrian pianist (1910-1983), both worked as a popular piano duo team, between 1932-1970. Double signed photo, sized 5 x 4 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian pianist (b.1963). Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed by her, shown young. Size is 7.3 x 7.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Scottish pianist (1861-1939), and composer, pupil of Theodor Leschetizky. 3-bar autograph music quote on cardboard from his "Flüchtiger Gedanke" Op. 27 #1 for piano signed by him and dated in Vienna, April 30, 1915. Size is 4.4 x 3.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Argentine pianist (1920-1973) who was a child prodigy and toured extensively in South America. An original photograph of the pianist by Annemarie Heinrich signed and dated by Regules in 1950. Size is 4.5 x 6.8 inches, some stains, in overall very good condition.

Swiss-born pianist (1863-1937), composer, and critic. Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) on both sides of a postcard signed by him. Size is 4 x 5.6 inches, in excellent condition.

French harpsichordist (1921-2020), and singing teacher. Set of two black-and-white photographs by Harcourt (Paris), signed by the pianist with a short sentiment, shown young. Each one's size is 4.9 x 6.9 inches, in excellent condition.

Portuguese pianist (1854-1928) and composer. Set of 2 autograph letters in Portuguese (sold untranslated) sent to one of his friends dated 1915 and 1916.  Each one in 1 sheet written on the front and verso. Sizes are 6.8 x 8.75 inches (some folds) and 6.25 x 8.6 inches (folds and minor cracks), in overall very good condition.

German-born pianist (1837-1899). Autograph note signed by him, dated July 1st, 1861, to a lady regarding an invitation.  Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, 1 page, in excellent condition.

Cuban-American pianist (b.1952), highly awarded for his recordings.  Signed promo photo, inscribed.  Size is 8.2 x 10.1 inches, in excellent condition.

French pianist (1860-1951), a pupil of Louis Massart and Henri Herz at the Conservatoire, wife in second marriage to the baryton Louis-Charles Bataille (1822-1872). Collection of four autograph letters in French (untranslated) signed by her.  Letters are addressed to gentlemen concerning music lessons, music programs, and other matters. We report an extract as a sample: "...Aurons-nous le plaisir, mon mari (v. L. Ch. Battaille le baryton bien connu) et moi de faire parti de un des programmes des concerts symphoniques populaires? (...) Nous pourrons venir ensemble ou séparement. Je vous recommande aussi très chaudement le quatuor vocal que mon mari a fondé, qui est absolument remarquable et qu'il serait interessant de faire entendre. À ce propos: Mr. Battaille voulait vous écrire pour vous demander de composer pour eux un quatuor, car tous les compositeur de valeur ont promis d'écrire pour le quatuor. Ils seraient heureux de mettre votre nom sur un de leurs programmes....". Different sizes, lengths, and conditions (see scans provided for a detailed view). English classical pianist (b. 1952), who performs as a concert soloist as well as a chamber musician. Signed photo, shown as himself. Size is 6 x 8 inches, in excellent condition. 

German-born American pianist (1902-1977). Nice sepia photograph signed by him; ink-stamped on verso by photographer James Albresch (New York). Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.

German pianist (b.1945), with many recordings including the complete works for piano solo by Johannes Brahms. Fine card signed by him attached with his half-tone photograph, shown young. Size is 4.1 x 5.8 inches, in excellent condition.

German pianist (1813-1894) and composer. Autograph letter in French signed by him, no date, to the French conductor and composer Louis-Antoine Jullien (1812-1860): "... I cannot have the pleasure of having you today; I have come to ask you, when you wish to do me the pleasure of coming with Mademoiselle your daughter to my house..." Size is 4.9 x 7.6 inches, overall rust stain, in very good condition.

Polish pianist (1862-1946), an outstanding pupil of Franz Liszt and a friend and colleague of some of the greatest musicians of his age. His original vintage business card signed by him with a short sentiment on the verso, dated in London, June 25, 1895. Size is 3.7 x 2.25 inches, mounting traces on the front, in overall very good condition.

Polish pianist (1862-1946) and composer, an outstanding pupil of Liszt and a friend and colleague of some of the greatest musicians of his age. His signature cut matted together with a black-and-white photograph mounted on a mat. Total size is 9 x 14 inches, signature cut is 4.25 x 1.75 inches (visible window size), photo is 4.25 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Piece of paper with three attached cards signed by five different famous pianists such as Artur Rubinstein (1926), Wilhelm Backhaus (1924), Mark Hambourg, Solomon, and Benno Moiseiwitsch (1924).  Total size is 9.6 x 9.3 inches, in excellent condition.

Album page signed on the front by Rubinstein with a long sentiment in Buenos Aires, 1940; and signed on the verso by Firkusny with a short sentiment in Buenos Aires, 1943. Size is 4.9 x 3.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Superstar Polish-born American pianist (1887-1982).  His book "My Young Years" signed boldly by him on the first title page; first edition, 1973, published by Alfred A. Knopf, New York. Size is 6.5 x 9.5 inches, 478 pages, hardcover and dust jacket, some wear and minor stains on the dust jacket (book in excellent condition). ALSO INCLUDED is its external hard cardboard case showing some wear (see pictures).

English pianist (1879-1937) and Polish violinist (1892-1952).  Double signed album page dated in 1924.  Size is 6.7 x  8.5 inches, in very good condition.

Hungarian pianist (1912-2005) and writer, who enjoyed a very important international career. Nice black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated in Rosario (Argentina), 1939, shown young at the piano; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Weinstein (Buenos Aires). Size is 6.6 x 9 inches, in excellent condition.

Virtuoso Spanish violinist (1844-1908) and Moravian pianist and composer (1846-1907). Autograph album page signed by the virtuoso Spanish violinist (1844-1908) with some few notes, dated in 1898. The album page is also signed by the Moravian pianist and composer with some handwriting over the top quoting two lines of Shakespeare.  Size is 9.25 x 11.4 inches, in excellent condition.

German pianist, composer and teacher (1862-1942), pupil of the legendary Franz Liszt and one of the most distinguished pianists of his time. Great autograph music quote from his 2nd piano concerto, signed by him and dated in Vienna, 1938. Size is 7.75 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a ticket stub with his name for a concert in 1921.

Set of 2 autograph notes signed, both written in German, sold untranslated. One is a 3.5 x 5.5 inch postcard, the other 5.25 x 8.25 inch sheet, dated in Vienna, 1935. Both in excellent condition, not sold separately.

French pianist (1853-1890), and brother of the the French violinist and composer Émile Sauret, who died of mental illness in New York. 8-bar autograph music quote from an unknown work signed and inscribed by him, dated in St. Louis, December 5, 1893.  Size is 7.5 x 4.9 inches, upper border irregularly cut, unknown autograph signature and date on the verso, in overall very good condition.

Hungarian-born British pianist (b.1953). Set of 2 CDs (vol. 5 & 6) from his integral work "Beethoven The Piano Sonatas" signed by him.  Jewel case's size is 5.5 x 4.9 inches each, in overall very good condition (CDs not tested).
