Enrico Caruso: Autographs & Memorabilia

Nice postcard signed by the star Italian tenor with a short sentiment, dated June 27, 1904.  Size is 5.5 x 3.5 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Super star Italian tenor (1873-1921), acclaimed at the major opera houses of Europe and America, for his interpretations in a wide variety of roles from the Italian and French repertoires. Additionally, he made approximately 260 commercially released recordings from 1902 to 1920. Signed postcard with an image of Vienna including military officers and other people as well as major building structures in the background. Signed in Vienna, dated in 1907 with his full name. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, some scotch tape residue on verso, otherwise in very good condition.   

Italian super star tenor (1873-1921) who was also an amateur caricaturist. Self-caricature drawn on the bottom right side of a signed postcard containing a photographic image of the Economic Ministry building in Montevideo, Uruguay, dated in Montevideo in 1903. His signature is just above his self-caricature. Sze is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in very good condition.   

His original vintage printed business card with a short note written by the star tenor in English (NOT SIGNED). Size is 3.6 x 2.6 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian librettist, writer and journalist (1853-1941), wrote librettos for Mascagni's L'Amico Fritz and Giordano's Mala Vita as well as a biography of the great Italian tenor Enrico Caruso published in 1938. Autograph letter signed, 2 pages, written on both sides of a 8.5 x 11 inch document, dated in Naples in 1922 and sent to the author of another Caruso biography congratulating him on his work. Composed in Italian and sold with a 2 page typed English translation, 8.25 x 11.75 inches, both documents in excellent condition. Rare historic item!

Vintage printed score for one of Enrico Caruso´s own songs, "Dreams of Long Ago", composed by Caruso, English version by Earl Carroll, published in 1912 by Leo Feist, New York. Cover with a photo of Caruso and a facsimile signature (printed, not real). A total of 6 pages including covers, 9.25 x 11.9 inches, in very good condition. 

Italian soprano (1874-1946) and first sentimental companion of the star tenor Enrico Caruso until 1908. Autograph letter in Italian signed by her to Italian impresario Franco Fano, dated October 7, 1908, informing her new address. Size is 4.4 x 7 inches, 1 page, central fold, rust stains, in very good condition.

Special magazine issued by Opera News, the magazine from the Metropolitan Opera in NY, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Enrico Caruso's birth in 1973. Many articles and photos, 39 pages, great collectible item, size is 8.25 x 11 inches.
