French highwire artist (b.1949) who gained fame for his unauthorized highwire walks between the towers of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris (1971), Sydney Harbour Bridge (1973), and the New York Twin Towers (1974). His book "To Reach the Clouds" signed by him on the title page; published by North Point Press (2002), first edition. Size is 8.75 x 11.1 inches, 244 pages, hardcovers, dust jacket, in very good condition.

Published by C. Muquardt, signed (initialized) and inscribed on first page by the Author, who dated in 1870. Includes original photograph depicting a statuette of the author, 317 pages of text, 7 plates with original photographs. Ukrainian-born American pianist (1891-1987) and also an educator. His autobiography "Khaki and Tails" signed twice by him on the back of the front end page, dated twice (1984 and 1977).  Book is apparently published in 1977, 118 pages, soft covers, size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, in excellent condition.

American cartoonist (1890-1949), entrepreneur and amateur anthropologist. His book "Believe it or Not!" signed by the famous showman on the front cover page with a short sentiment, published in 1934, first edition, 9th printing.  Size is 6.3 x 9.3 inches, 361 pages, repaired spine, some wear on the cover, book in overall very good condition.

American illustrator and writer of children's books (1928-2012).  Beautiful edition of his book "Outsided Over There" signed by him on the frontend page.  Size is 10.25 x 9.3 inches, rich full-page illustrations with text, published by Ursula Nordstrom, 1981; hardcovers, dust jacket in very good condition.

American playwright and poet (1948-2018), as a black feminist, she addressed issues relating to race in much of her work. Signed book "For Colored Girls who have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf", a choreopoem by Ntozake Shange. Published by Macmillan Publishing, New York, fourth printing of the 1st Edition, 1978. A total of 64 numbered pages, hardcovers, dust jacket, signed by her on the frontend page. Size is 6.1 x 9.5 inches, in excellent condition.

American Districg Judge and writer (1904-1992), famous for his role during the trials stemming from the Watergate scandal in the 1970s. Signed book "To Set the Record Straight - The Break-in, The Tapes, The Conspirators, The Pardon", first edition, W.W. Norton & Co., 1979. Signed by Sirica on the frontend page. Hardcovers, 394 numbered pages, dust jacket, 6.4 x 9.4 inches, spotted rust on frontendpages, in overall very good condition.

French writer (1846-1918).  First volume of his work "Histoire du Théatre-Lyrique", published by Librairie Fischbacher, Paris, 1899, signed by the author on the first title page.  Size is 9.25 x 11 inches, 59 numbered pages plus extra non numbered pages, soft covers, some rust on covers and minor spine damage, otherwise in very good condition.

Australian dramatic coloratura soprano (1926-2010) noted for her contribution to the renaissance of the Bel Canto repertoire in the late 1950s through the 1980s. Book "Joan Sutherland: A Tribute" by Moffatt Oxenbould, signed and inscribed by the star Australian soprano on the title page, dated in 1989.  Book published by Honeysett Publications, Australia; 1st Edition.  Size is 8.2 x 11.6 inches, 128 pages, dust jacket, in excellent condition.

French journalist (1884-1968), teacher, and historian of the French circus. The first volume of his book "La Merveilleuse Histoire du Cirque" signed and inscribed by him on the first title page with a short sentiment. First edition by Prima (1947), 271 pages with illustrations and photographs, hardcovers, size is 8.5 x 11.1 inches, in very good condition.

English actress (1882-1976) who toured internationally in Shakespearean productions, often appearing with her husband Lewis Casson. Her biography written by her and Elisabeth Sprigge, signed by both on the full title page. First edition by Victor Gollancz, London, 1971. 348 pages, hardcovers, dust jacket. Size is 5.7 x 8.7 inches, book in excellent condition, dust jacket with wear on edges.

American best-selling author and screenwriter (1916-1990), famous for some his novels.  Signed book, published by Signet Books, 1963, softcovers edition, 740 pages, signed and inscribed on the title page, dated by Wallace in 1963. Size is 4.25 x 7.1 inches, in excellent condition.

Romanian-born American writer and human rights activist (1928-2016), a holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize laureate (1986). Signed book, part of the Easton Press leather-bound signed editions, copy 368 from a total of 700, published in 2012. Signature is on first page, also included is a certificate of authenticity signed by Wiesel and Peter Sydney from Easton Press. Hardcovers, gilded edges, 214 numbered pages, 5.7 x 8.7 inches, in excellent condition.
