Venezuelan pianist, singer, composer and conductor (1853-1917), (her last name is also seen as Carreno in English) - a prodigy child who performed at age 10 for president Abraham Lincoln at the White House, Carreño toured extensively around the world.
Autograph music quote signed by her, a Prelude from an unknown piece, dated in Boston in 1889. Size is 5.75 x 7.25 inches, in excellent condition. Also included are a small half-tone photo from a magazine, and a short article clip about her.
