American singer and songwriter (1943-1970), with a mezzo-soprano voice, Joplin was famous in her time for her powerful performances singing rock, soul and blues music.

Signed album page, in black ink, dated in blue ink by the fan who obtained this autograph on "September 4th, 1970, 8.30 pm". This is exactly one month before Joplin passed away due to a heroin overdose at age 27!.

This is a great chance to get your Janis Joplin autograph, since it is so rare, and this one has a short story behind.

On verso of this page, there is an autograph by the security guard who allowed the fan to get to meet Joplin, it reads "To Cookie, from the cop that got you in to see Janis" and signs apparently as "Arnie". 

Size is 5.25 x 4.5 inches, left border is irregularly cut, rest is in excellent condition.

ALSO INCLUDED is a photograph of Janis Joplin, a modern print (not from her time), 8.5 x 11 inches, in excellent condition. It can be used to frame next to this fantastic souvenir or Joplin in a casual moment kept in history by this unique autograph album page!

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not.
