Beautiful 1863 playbill announcing a concert (entitled "Great Music Performance" in German) with the famous composer conducting his own music in Karlsruhe, Germany. In the first part, Wagner conducts an orchestral part of Tristan und Isolde (the full opera was not premiered until 1865) and 3 short parts of Die Meistersinger. In the second, Wagner conducts 3 parts of Die Walkure and one of Siegfried (the full opera was not premiered until 1876). Mounted on acid-free mat, easy to remove if desired. A highly desirable and very rare item!

Size is 12 x 17.5 inches (full size), playbill is 8 x 13.5 inches (visible window size), in excellent condition.

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
