Star American contralto (1871-1947), one of the most beautiful voices of the golden era of singing. Signed photo, trimmed from a larger photo, shown as herself, dated in 1917. Bold handwriting and signature. Printed signature by photographer on front. Size is 4.75 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

French soprano (1905-1972), signed photo, shown in role (possibly Marschallin in Richard Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier), inscribed and dated in 1936. Printed signature on front and stamped on verso by photographer Sudak, Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

English bass-baritone (1886-1953), especially known for Gilbert and Sullivan repertoire at D'oyly Carte company from the 1920s to the early 1950s. Fantastic photograph signed and inscribed by him, shown in role in "The Pirates of Penzance". Size is 5 x 7.5 inches, in excellent condition.

German Wagnerian soprano (1872-1932).  Autograph note signed, written on both sides of a card with her monogrammed initials.  Written in English, signed in Philadelphia, dated in 1898. Attractive bold signature. Size is 3 x 4.5 inches, slight rust on the bottom of verso, otherwise in very good condition. 

Italian soprano (1864-1950) who performed the main soprano role in the world premiere of Cavalleria Rusticana (Santuzza) and the title role in the world premiere of Fedora. Signed album page, dated in Venice in 1908. Bold handwriting and signature. Size is 2.5 x 4.25 inches, in excellent condition. 

Romanian soprano (1894-1985), Richard Strauss's favorite soprano, also married to the famous Austrian conductor Clemens Krauss. Signed card, dated in 1954. Contains both type written text and handwritten inscription and signature. Signed as "Viorica Ursuleac Krauss". Size is 4 x 6.25 inches, in excellent condition. 

American soprano (1929-2007), autograph note signed, hand-written on her home stationary. Size is 5.5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

American soprano (1897-1981), one of the best sopranos of the last 100 years, recognized for performing mainly at the Metropolitan Opera of New York. Typed letter signed, on home stationary, dated in 1954.Size is 6 x 7 inches, in excellent condition. 

Star Italian soprano, actress and monologist (1874-1944) who had a celebrated career in both the U.S and Europe. Typed letter signed, dated in Rome in 1939, apparently a typed contract  in the form of a letter discussing fees for an upcoming film. Written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 8.75 x 11 inches, in excellent condition. 

Italian dramatic soprano (1905-1979), one of the leading sopranos of the 1930s and 1940s, recorded frequently with Beniamino Gigli. Typed letter signed, dated in 1940, composed at the Hotel Quirinale in Rome. Signed with her married name "Maria Caniglia Donati". 1 page, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 8 x 11 inches, small tear in the middle and slight paper loss at the bottom right of the page, otherwise in very good condition. 

Italian soprano (1907-1984), who excelled in the verismo repertoire, she was the  composer Pietro Mascagni's favorite Santuzza in his opera Cavalleria Rusticana. Autograph letter signed, dated in 1934, Frankfurt, on her own letterhead. Signed by her with an additional signature and short greeting by someone else at the end of the letter. Written in Italian, sold  untranslated. Full size of page (when unfolded) is 9 x 14 inches, in excellent condition.

One 2-sided album page containing 5 musical quotes signed between 1885-1886: 1 by American baritone, pianist and composer Eugene Oudin (1858-1894), 1 from Estonian tenor Raimund Von Zur-Muhlen (1854-1931), 1 from English soprano Pauline Creamer (1858-?), 1 jointly signed by the sisters Sophie Robertson (1854-?) and contralto Fanny Robertson (dates unknown) - and 1 from the English composer Dick Cotsford (1846-1911). Very bold and clear handwriting and signatures. Size is 5 x 7.75 inches, in excellent condition.
