Scottish soprano (1903-1990), large signed photo, shown in Gian Carlo Menotti's Amelia Goes to the Ball at the Metropolitan Opera in the 1938-39 season. Inscribed to the conductor of the performance, Ettore Panizza. Very clear handwriting and signature. Size is 8 x 10 inches, slight smudges on top and bottom corners outside of the borders of photo and signature, otherwise in excellent condition.
