Famous Italian-born bass (1794-1858), who created the title role in Don Pasquale (opera by Donizetti) in 1843 and was well known throughout Europe for performing at important theatres. Autograph note signed, matted with a nice vintage print of him. Sizes are 11.25 x 23.75 inches for the total mat, 6.75 x 10.25 for the vintage print and 4.5 x 7.25 for the autograph note signed, all in excellent condition.
