British composer, conductor and pianist (1913-1976), one of the greatest of the 20th century. Nice card with an autograph music quote signed (AMQS), dated on April 1st, 1941 in New York, just 3 days after the world premiere of his Sinfonia da Requiem by the New York Philharmonic under John Barbirolli. Card is 3.5 x 5.25 inches, and has attached with a small half-tone photo of the composer, then just 27 years old. ALSO INCLUDED is a small envelope, with postmarks dated on April 2nd in New York.

New York City Ballet at the Royal Opera House in London, under the composer´s baton, 1950. A facsimile of the original score of the piece with the same name, with full color, full page illustrations by Nolan.  An edition of only 1000 copies, of which 300 were signed by both composer and artist, this one is number 167, published celebrating the 60th birthday of Britten. Famous English piano impresario and manufacturer (1811-1893), the grandson of John Broadwood (1732-1812), who in 1774 founded the famous piano manufacturing company Broadwood & Sons. Henry took over in 1836, taking the company to a new level. Autograph note signed, to German music critic Eduard Hanslick (1825-1904), one sheet handwritten on both sides with signature on verso, undated, in English. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, sold untranscribed, in excellent condition. Broadwood thanks Hanslick for a present (a book or brochure), expressing his wish to get the opportunity to thank him in person.
