Many illustrations in full color. Size is 7.4 x 10.6 inches, minor rust stains on dust jacket and first title page, clip markings on frontend pages, otherwise in very good condition.

Signature is on first blank page, inscribed, ownership markings on frontend page, 415 numbered pages, 6.5 x 9.6 inches, dust jacket with some cracks and wear, book is in excellent condition.

Beautiful signed book "Whales" by Jacques Cousteau and Yves Paccalet, first edition in English by Abrams, 1988. A total of 280 numbered pages plus hard covers and original dust jacket, with many color photographs and illustrations. Cousteau signed with blue felt tip pen on a semi-transparent page before the first title page. Very minor wear, almost like new, size is 9.5 x 12.25 inches, a rather heavy, coffee table book.
