Stage name of Carlo M. Michelangelo Nicola Broschi (1705-1782), probably the most celebrated Italian castrato singer of the 18th Century and considered one of the greatest singers in opera history. Exceedingly rare legal document, related to the ownership of things in a property, signed at the bottom by Farinelli (as Carlo Broschi Farinelli), dated in Madrid in 1754, when Farinelli was indeed in Madrid (he served the Spanish court for 25 years). Document is written by another hand but signed at the bottom by Farinelli. One page of hand-laid paper, 8.25 x 12 inches, central fold, irregular borders, in excellent condition. Autographs of Farinelli as extremely rare and this is the first one we come across, ever!. To the best of our knowledge, the last time there was a Farinelli autograph in the market was at least 3 years ago, and this is also in great condition, with a fabulous signature.

Document is written by another hand, and signed at the bottom by Farinelli in full name, in a somewhat darker ink. One page of hand-laid paper, 7.9 x 8.4 inches, central fold, spotted rust stains, otherwise in excellent condition. Autographs of Farinelli as extremely rare and only show up in the market every few years, this one is important and also has a very clear signature. ALSO INCLUDED is a nice vintage print with his image, a lithograph by Richard Bentley, London. Size is 5.25 x 8.5 inches, some stains on borders and small paper loss on the bottom right corner, otherwise in very good condition.

Hungarian baritone (1888-1970), signed postcard photograph, shown in title role of Verdi's Rigoletto. Size is 3.25 x 5.5 inches, small crease on bottom right, otherwise in very good condition.

British rock, blues, and soul singer (b.1940). Nice color photograph signed by him. Size is 9.75 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

American jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn player (1928-1999), known for its individuality, lyricism, warmth of tone, and sensitivity. Black-and-white photograph signed by him, shown in performance. Size is 4.1 x 5.6 inches, in excellent condition.

American musician (b.1948), best known as the original lead singer and lead guitarist for the rock band Grand Funk Railroad. LP record sleeve (no record included) for his album "Grand Funk Live Album" (1970) signed by him. Size is 12.25 x 12.25 inches, evident signs of wear, otherwise in very good condition.

Size of each page is 5.25 x 6.75 inches, very small creases on bottom and tears in middle, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian soprano (1877-1955), starred in the world premiere production of Pietro Mascagni's Isabeau in 1911.  Set of two autograph letters signed, both written in Italian, sold untranslated. The first scan is of a 4-page letter written in Milan in 1921 on all sides of a folded 5.25 x 8.25 inch sheet, signed as "Maria Riboldi Farneti", reflecting her marriage to lawyer Luigi Riboldi. The second scan is of a letter written on 3 sides of a folded 5.75 x 7.25 sheet, dated in Milan in 1920, and signed only as "Maria", both are in excellent condition. Signed album page, signed by her in 1932 underneath a quote of the subtitle of her autobiography.  Also included: an additional signature on this page is that of the French born child actor in silent films and later advertising agency executive and film and television director Philippe De Lacy (1917-1995), whose film career began with a visit to the set of Farrar's film The Riddle: Woman in  1921. His inscription with sentiment appears to be addressed to Farrar. Size is 6.5 x 8.25 inches, some wear on edges, otherwise in very good condition.

Star American soprano (1882-1967), Italian baritone (1866-1936), Polish-born German soprano (1877-1962), Polish bass (1874-1946), Belgian soprano (1873-1953), Italian baritone (1859-1918), Spanish bass (1874-1953), and American soprano (1878-1922) Stunningly beautiful, multiple signed photograph of the US Premiere of "Le Donne Curiose" (The Curious Women), opera by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari, on January 3rd, 1912. This was also the world premiere of the opera in Italian language, Arturo Toscanini conducted. Signed by almost the entire cast, Hermann Jadlowker´s name is handwritten under his image. Photo is 9.75 x 7.75 inches, was trimmed on the left and right borders and 2 signatures were partially cut in the process (Pietro Audisio and Angelo Bada), all the rest are complete, photo is in excellent condition. Very rare!
