Autograph Note in French (sold untranslated) signed by him. Size is 4 x 5.2 inches, 1 page, central fold, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a handmade drawing of the composer by an unknown artist. Size is 7.1 x 6.9 inches, in very good condition.  

Belgian-born French romantic composer (1822-1890), pianist, organist and teacher. An important composer, Franck wrote pieces for many different genres, including vocal, orchestral and chamber music. Signed score for his scared oratorio Les Béatitudes (1869-1879), inscribed "to my friend Auguez" and boldly signed by Franck on the title page. Crayon markings on the frontend page indicate past ownership: "N. Auguez, 49 Rue Nollet, Paris et 64 Rue St Lazare", this is obviously Franck´s friend to whom he dedicated this piece. Oratorio is dedicated to Franck´s wife. A total of 308 numbered pages plus extra pages and non-original hardcovers in black cloth and golden letters in the spine, published by Brandus, Paris, no year indicated. Size is 7.6 x 11 inches, spotted rust on pages and on the book´s edges, in overall very good condition.

French composer (1822-1890), pianist, organist, and music teacher born in present-day Belgium. Beautiful unsigned vintage photograph of him by Clement Ortmans mounted on a photographer mat. Total size is 6.6 x 9 inches, photo is 4 x 5.5 inches, silvering around borders, in very good condition.

Program for the celebration and honoring the famous Italian singer Franco Corelli by the Hudson Opera Theater on February 9th, 1991, signed by many guest stars including Jerome Hines, Lucine Amara, Enrico Di Giuseppe, Shirley Love, Leo Nucci, and others (not signed by Corelli).  Size is 8 x 10 inches, full program with all pages and covers, in excellent condition. Gorgeous black-and-white photograph mounted on a photographer mat signed and inscribed by him in Madrid (1946) to the Argentine poet Juan Alfonso Carrizo.  Total size is 10.75 x 10.25 inches, photo is 6.7 x 8.75 inches, minor stains, silvering around borders, otherwise in very good condition. Rare autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by her, dated December 23, 1883, to the impresario Canedi: “…M.elle [Jeanne] Perrouze. Elle part lundi pour Rome où elle doit chanter l’opérette en français, elle a beaucoup de talent et débute mardi- Si vous pouvez faire quelque chose pour elle je vous en serai très reconnaissante. J’ai vu le théâtre Sannazaro, il m’a paru tout petit et très sourd…”. Open size is 7.4 x 8.9 inches, three written pages in one folded sheet, central fold, in overall very good condition.
