American funk rock band active between 1968 and 1982. The group was first formed in 1964 by musician, singer and songwriter George Clinton (b.1941) as a section of his group The Parliaments. Fantastic, large collection of autographs and memorabilia that includes handmade artwork collages with magazine and advertisement clips, hand drawings, dozens of signatures of past members (many of them now deceased) including some signed photographs, a metal plate and some pins and magnets with the group´s name. All hand artwork made by them, all signed items authentic. From the estate of former music event producer KF, who was in close contact with the band. The last 6 photos shown here contain a list of signers and creators of these items, and a scan of the souvenir pins and magnets. Large size playbills, each one being 33.25 x 11.75 inches, in fragile paper, some show minor cracks or problems, in overall very good to excellent condition.

Brahms Festival Program, Berlin, May 16th through 21st, 1933, celebrating the centenary of Johannes Brahms birth. Signed on the cover by 4 star artists: conductor Wilhelm Furtwangler (who was the musical director of the festival), pianist Arthur Schnabel, cellist Pablo Casals, and composer/musician Paul Hindemith. Program is 6 x 9 inches and has all 32 pages plus covers. In luxurious, shiny paper, includes 5 photos inside (all related to Brahms´ life and works), and the content of the concerts that were part of this music festival (see scan). Program has a fold in the center, otherwise it is in excellent condition. This is just a short time after Nazism came to power in Germany, and weeks before Schnabel would permanently depart from Germany.
