Poster announcing a concert by star pianist Glenn Gould at the Armon Theatre, Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1958. This was part of his legendary tour in Israel when he was only 26 years old and soon after his debut in Boston the same year. Gould career giving public concerts only lasted for 8 years with only 200 performances, of which just a few concerts were outside the US and Canada. Size is 24.75 x 18.75 inches, in both English and Hebrew. Wrinkles on borders, very minor stains on borders, otherwise in very good condition. Rare!

Star Canadian pianist (1932-1982), one of the greatest interpreters of Bach of the 20th century and American composer (1900-1990). Program for a performance with the NY Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall, New York, under the baton of Leonard Bernstein, Jan 26th, 1957, signed by both Glenn Gould and composer Aaron Copland.  Concert included music by Bernstein and Copland, as well as Beethoven´s Piano Concerto Nr 2, with Gould as soloist. A total of 12 pages, signatures are on page 1, size is 6 x 9 inches, in excellent condition. This is a fantastic piece of memorabilia with an autograph of Gould at age 24! Large, iconic photograph by American photographer Don Hunstein (1928-2017), an original made directly from the negatives, signed in ink below by Hunstein, who numbered this copy 11 of 200 copies made. Typed on paper with the Canadian Broadcast Croportation letterhead. Gould discusses about material for a future documentary about him, exquisite content! - and boldly signs on the 3rd page. Three separate pages, each is 8.5 x 11 inches in size, with minor folds, in excellent condition.

Gounod writes 5 bars from Faust´s finale, with lyrics, indicating that this part belongs to a chorus from heaven, located outside the stage, singing "Christ est ressuscite!, Christ vient de renaitre!" (Christ has risen again! Christ is born again!). Music quote is 6 x 3.9 inches, photo is 3.9 x 5.5 inches, both mounted in a mat that is 11 x 16.25 inches. Some age toning, overall in very good condition. VERY RARE!!
