French violinist and conductor (1834-1899). Set of 2 autograph notes signed, both with his letterhead and written in French (sold untranslated). One is dated in 1896, sized 5.25 x 8.1 inches and the other is 4.75 x 7.25 inches, both in excellent condition.

French composer, oboist (1858-1929) and music teacher whose Studies for Oboe are considered among the best to master the instrument. Autograph letter in French signed by him, dated London, March 10, 1859, addressing a fan, sending him a music quote a some verses of his own.  Size is 5.2 x 8.2 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet (front and verso), sold untranslated, with letterhead, folds, in very good condition.

Group of 3 programs with famous French conductor Charles Lamoureux (1834-1899) conducting at teatro La Scala, Milan, in 1894. Programs include music by Wagner, a composer whose music he enormously advocated later in his life.  One smaller program with 4 pages, each one is 6.25 x 8.5 inches, and 2 larger, 1-page programs, 11.9 x 8.25 inches, all 3 concerts including at least one piece of Wagner´s music, all in excellent condition.

French actor (1920-2011), screenwriter, and film director; active between 1951-1994. Fine black and white photograph signed by him, shown young; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Sam Levin, Paris. Size is 3.75 x 5.75 inches, few mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Famous Italian singing teacher (1811 or 1813-1892), taught many famous opera singers including Emma Albani, Desiree Artot, and Teresa Stolz.  Autograph musical quote signed on a 3.75 x 4.5 page mounted onto a larger album page of 4 x 8.25 inches. Some wear on the larger page but musical quote page is in excellent condition. 

Italian singing teacher (1811 or 1813-1892), autograph note signed, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Signed as "F co Lamperti". Also included: brief newspaper clipping in Italian announcing his death. Size of note is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, small ink smudge to left of signature, but not covering the text, otherwise in excellent condition.

Polish harpsichordist (1879-1959) and pianist, whose performances and recordings greatly helped revive harpsichord music during the 20th century, and became the first to record Bach's Goldberg Variations on the harpsichord in 1931. Large mat attached with a photograph of her by Lipnitzki, 1931, shown in performance, signed and inscribed by her with a long sentiment in French, dated June 15th, 1935. Total size is 9.5 x 14.8 inches, photograph is 6.25 x 4.1 inches, rust toning in part of the mat, in overall very good condition.

Famous Polish-born French harpsichordist (1879-1959), nice set of 12 typed letters signed by her, to Roland Gelatt from The Saturday Review of Literature, dates ranging from later 1950 through early 1954. All in English, discussing different business matters regarding music, a couple have handwritten text at the bottom. Sized 8.5 x 11 inches, with her letterhead, in overall very good condition. Also included is an extra letter by a friend of her.
