Star German soprano (1848-1929), one of the greatest of the last decades of the 19th century. Very famous as an interpreter of Wagner operas, Lehmann performed in the first full Ring cycle in 1876 and was later famous as a teacher as well. Handwritten and signed card, dated in Berlin in 1908, with a literary quote. Also included in this lot is an A. Dupont, NY photo mounted on cardboard, showing her as Isolde, great to frame with the autograph item. Both items are in excellent condition, sizes are 3.75 x 2.5 inches for the autograph card and 4 x 5.5 inches for the photo.

Star German soprano (1848-1929), beautiful original print, cover of the Harper´s Weekly journal, published on January 18th, 1890. Print depicts Lehmann in the title role of The Queen of Sheba, opera by Goldmark, only the cover or front page, not the rest of the magazine. Size is 11 x 16 inches, in excellent condition.

Signature on a card, mounted on a mat with a photo of the great soprano (shown as Brunnhilde in Der Ring - one of her best roles) and a clip from an original Metropolitan Opera for a performance of Siegfried in 1889 - with Lehmann in the cast as Brunnhilde. Autograph letter in German signed by her, dated February 21st, 1973, where she addresses a certain Mr. Hiller (presumably a publisher), concerning a book about her: “…das Buch "L. L., mehr als eine Sängerin" von Berndt Wessling (Residenverlag Salzburg) hat ausreidiente daten…”. Size is 5.9 x 7.6 inches, 1 written page, with printed letterhead, in excellent condition. Translation: “…the book "L. L., more than a singer" by Berndt Wessling (Residenverlag Salzburg) has sufficient information…”.  ALSO INCLUDED is a typed draft of an article in German by Hella Müller, dated in Vienna, August 1951, with mounted paper stripes as corrections, about the singer in Santa Barbara. and its corresponding typed letter accompanying the draft.

Gorgeous black and white unsigned photograph of the three artists in an informal pose; an original photo by Brüder Basch, Vienna, ink-stamped on verso by him (sticker indicating date Nov. 2nd, 1955). Size is 7.9 x 5.6 inches, crack over the left border, creases, folds, some dust stains, in good condition.

Legendary German soprano and later voice teacher (1888-1976), set of 1 autograph letter signed on the stationary of the Orrington Hotel in Evanston Illinois, dated in 1964 and 1 typed letter hand-signed at the bottom, on her home letterhead in Santa Barbara, California, dated in 1970. Both are 1 page and written in English. Size of the earlier letter is 6 x 9.5 inches, with several mounting traces and small tear and crease on bottom right, otherwise in very good condition, typed letter is 8.5 x 11 inches, several very small creases and folds, otherwise in excellent condition. Not sold separately.
