Size is 3 x 6 inches, small tear at top left of photo outside of the area of image and signature, otherwise in good condition. 

French dancer (1875-1943) at the Paris Opéra at the age of 18, portrayed many times by painter Edgar Degas. Nice cabinet photograph of her from 1893 by photographer L{eon Pillaut/Benque & Co (Paris). Size is 4.2 x 6.2 inches, ink markings over the bottom, in excellent condition.

Italian mezzo-soprano (1860-1926), autograph note signed, 1 page written in French, sold untranslated. Size is 4 x 5 inches, slight creases, otherwise in very good condition.

Famous German tenor (1806-1874) who later became a very important pedagogue, Mantius befriended Mendelssohn and performed in world premieres by him, Flotow, Meyerbeer and in Otto Nicolai´s most famous opera The Merry Wives of Windsor. Autograph letter signed by him, in German, dated in Berlin in 1846. Sold untranslated. One page, 8 x 11 inches, has folds, a repaired crack over the center of the left border, ink is overall on the faded side but still clearly legible, priced accordingly - rare!
