Autograph letter signed by him, recommending someone, with his address as letterhead, dated in Aix en Provence, December 1939. In French, sold untranslated. Size is 8.2 x 10.5 inches, has folds, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a half-tone photo of the composer at work, 4.75 x 7 inches, perfect to frame with this autograph letter if desired.

Also included is an envelope with letterhead from the War Department.  Size is 9.4 x 4.1 inches, used to send this typed letter, in very good condition. INCLUDED as well is a certificate of authenticity issued by JSA.
