Argentine statesman (1821-1906), writer, and president of Argentina between 1862 and 1868.  Signed postcard attached with a half-tone photograph of him, mounted on an album page where Mitre writes a short text quote translated as "years go by like shadows", signed below with his full name, dated in Buenos Aires, 1905.  There is an unidentified signature on verso as well.  Total size is 7.5 x 4.75 inches. some age-toning, in overall very good condition.

Mitropoulos can be seen over the lower right with the baton, in facing the orchestra. Fantastic black-and-white photograph of the Japanese soprano mounted on soft hard cardboard, signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, dated in 1922.  Total size is 8.1 x 10 inches (actual photo is 7 x 8.75 inches). ON VERSO there is another autograph by Sophie Braslau signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, also dated in 1922.  Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, some wrinkles and mounting damages.
