Argentine statesman (1821-1906), writer, and president of Argentina between 1862 and 1868.  Signed postcard attached with a half-tone photograph of him, mounted on an album page where Mitre writes a short text quote translated as "years go by like shadows", signed below with his full name, dated in Buenos Aires, 1905.  There is an unidentified signature on verso as well.  Total size is 7.5 x 4.75 inches. some age-toning, in overall very good condition.

Argentine statesman (1821-1906), writer, and president of Argentina between 1862 and 1868.  Fine black-and-white photo postcard signed by him in Buenos Aires, 1903, when he was 80 years old (photo taken in 1901). Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, evident spotted rust, otherwise in very good condition.

Four-page program for a concert at the Salzburg Festival, Dimitri Mitropoulos conducting, with Leopold Simoneau as soloist, concert in memoriam of Wilhelm Furtwangler (who passed away in November 1954). Size is 6 x 8.25 inches, in very good condition.

Original wire photo taken on Oct 28th, 1958, opening night at the Met Opera in New York, with Dimitri Mitropoulos conducting Eugene Onegin. Mitropoulos can be seen over the lower right with the baton, in facing the orchestra. Original photo from the archives of The Baltimore Sun, a certificate of authenticity is included, 8 x 10 inches, stamped on verso by Associated Press, dated the next day.

Fantastic black-and-white photograph of the Japanese soprano mounted on soft hard cardboard, signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, dated in 1922.  Total size is 8.1 x 10 inches (actual photo is 7 x 8.75 inches). ON VERSO there is another autograph by Sophie Braslau signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, also dated in 1922.  Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, some wrinkles and mounting damages.
