French-born English soprano (1886-1971) who developed a very important international career. She was named after the title character of Mignon, opera by Ambroise Thomas who was her godfather. Gorgeous signed photo, shown as Ophelia in Hamlet, opera by Thomas - one of her most famous roles. This is from or around 1910, year in which she performed in Hamlet on the opening night at the winter season at Covent Garden. Dated in 1938, 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition

Very rare set of 3 posters from the 1970s, from the then recently premiered production of Balanchine´s "Jewels". Posters are in 3 different colors representing precious stones: Diamonds (white), Emeralds (green) and Rubies (red). Each poster is 13 x 25.5 inches, in excellent condition. Full season program for all of the performances presented by The New York City Opera at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles between November 14 to December 9, 1973, signed by different singers and artists. Seven operas presented including Anna Bolena, Carmen, Roberto Devereux, La Boheme, Der Rosenkavalier, I Puritani, and Tosca. Signatures on each of the various cast pages for these operas are from such prominent artists as Beverly Sills, Johanna Meier, Robert Hale, Enrico Di Giuseppe, Marisa Galvany, Michele Molese, Richard Fredericks, Gwendolyn Killebrew, Faye Robinson, Michael Langdon, and Sylvia Anderson, among others. This is a full season program containing all pages and covers (68 pages in total), size is 8.25 x 10.75 inches, small creases and folds, otherwise in excellent condition.
