Nice sepia photo postcard signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated 1930, shown dancing; blind-stamped on the front by photographer Bixio (Buenos Aires). Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, silvering around borders, mounting traces on verso, in overall very good condition.

French dancer (1924-2017) and choreographer.  Beautiful black and white photograph shown in performance, signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment.  Photograph is ink-stamped on verso by photographer Lido, Paris.  Size is 7 x 9.1 inches, in excellent condition.

American dancer (1907-1986), actress, ballet director and also the co-founder of the American Ballet Theatre. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment. Size is 8.1 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

American ballet dancer (1909-1984) and choreographer. Fine half-tone photograph signed by him and mounted on hard cardboard. Total size is 3.3 x 5.25 inches, in very good condition.

American dancer (1911-1974), choreographer, and theatre director, known as "the Father of Theatrical Jazz Dance". Vintage photograph signed and inscribed by him, shown in a dance routine performed in March 1942 at the Olympia Theater. Size is 7.5 x 9.5 inches, silvering, in overall excellent condition.

English dancer (b. 1947), principal ballerina at the Royal Ballet. Signed photo postcard, shown in the Fille Mal Gardee, inscribed. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

American dancer (1919-1976). Fine black-and-white photograph mounted on cardboard signed and inscribed by her in pencil. Total size is 6 x 8 inches, irregular bottom, in very good condition.

Spanish dancer (b.1975) and former principal dancer of the American Ballet Theater. Set of three signed programs for ballet performances at the Metropolitan Opera. Each one is complete and signed by him on program page (2 performances of The Snow Maiden and Giselle). Their size is 5.4 x 8.5 inches each one, in excellent condition.

Spanish dancer (b.1975), former principal dancer with the American Ballet Theater (ABT), a guest dancer in many important companies. Signed calendar cover with a picture of several men dancers from the ABT, a total of 7 signatures. Signers are (from top to bottom, left to right): Kenny Easter, Angel Corella, Jesus Pastor, Danny Tidwell, Buck Collins, Patrick Ogle, and Jared Matthews.  Back cover is also included (see scan), but not signed, the calendar pages inside are missing. Size is 16.25 x 13.5 inches, a perfect piece for framing, in very good condition.

Italian dancer (b. 1941), signed photo postcard, shown in the Imperial Ballet (by Tchaikovsky). Size is 4 x 6 inches, in excellent condition. 

American dancer (1919-2009) and choreographer who was at the forefront of American modern dance for more than 50 years. Card signed by her on a brochure over styrofoam. Total size is 5.9 x 8.8 inches, in very good condition.

Interesting set of 11 photographs signed by different dance duos including Billy and Beverly Bemis, Diane and Duval, Donna and Darrell, Emisa and Novello, Georges and Jalna, Haynes and Raymond, Ioshev and Jeanne, Ramon and Renita, Ruthania and Malcolm, and Walter and Jean. Poster announcing the first Dancers´ Choice Benefit gala (June 27th, 2008) for the Dancers Emergency Fund - a benefit gala that has been taking yearly since then.  Poster has 60 signatures of artists, including Aaron Severini, creator of the music for the ballet Flit of Fury/The Monarch, that was world premiered that night, and some dancers of the cast as well. Size is 18 x 24 inches, in excellent condition, will ship rolled inside a tube.

Russian ballet dancer (1903-1997) and American ballet dancer and instructor (1921-2017), double signed photograph, shown in performance, inscribed by each. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small tear on bottom left and creases on edges of the photo not affecting image and signature, otherwise in good condition. 

Russian ballet dancer (1903-1997), and Kennedy Center Honoree.  Signed book, her biography, entitled with her name, a book by A. E. Twysden, first edition by C.W. Beaumont, London, 1945, some black and white photographs, signature is on the frontend page. A total of 175 numbered pages plus hard covers, no dust jacket, 5.6 x 8.75 inches, in very good condition.

Russian ballet dancer (1903-1997), and Kennedy Center Honoree.  Book "Changes Lobsters and Dance", by Lilli Palmer, signed by Danilova opposite to the first title page - with Danilova´s address in New York, this was probably part of her private library. Published by Macmillan Publishing company, New York, NY, 1975. A total of 320 numbered pages, some illustrations, 6.25 x 9.4 inches, hardcovers, no dust jacket, in very good condition.

Program for the 1936 season (June-September) at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, for performances of the Ballet Russes from Montecarlo, signed inside by many artists including Colonel W. De Basil, Leonide Massine, Antal Dorati, Lubov Tchernichova, Alexandra Danilova, Irina Baronova, Tamara Toumanova, David Lichine, Paul Petroff, and few others. Size is 10 x 14.2 inches, full program with all pages and covers, pictures, beautiful color illustrations; loose covers, stains on covers, spine in poor shape, internal pages in excellent condition. Lithuanian-born ballet impresario (1888-1951), very important for running a ballet company with many former members from the Ballet Russes. Typed letter with his letterhead and signed by him, thanking a donor, dated in Covent Garden, October 9, 1937. Size is 8.4 x 10.75 inches, in excellent condition.

French rope acrobat (1910-1992). Black-and-white photograph inscribed and signed by her with a short sentiment. Size is 7 x 5 inches, in excellent condition.

Venezuelan dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher (b. 1932), active throughout Latin America from the 1950s until the turn of the century. Signed photograph, shown in performance, inscribed with short sentiment, dated in 1953. Stamped on verso by Fashion Photography studio. Size is 8 x 10 inches, some bends and rust near bottom of front side, otherwise in very good condition. 

Argentine dancer who had an important career at Teatro Colon in the 1930s and 1940s. Fine sepia photograph signed and inscribed by her, dated 1934; an original photo by Annemarie Heinrich (who signed in pencil over the lower-left corner). Size is 9.25 x 7.3 inches, mounted on hard cardboard, in very good condition.

Anglo-Irish dancer, teacher, choreographer, and director of classical ballet (1898-2001). Informal color photograph signed by her with a short sentiment; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Mike Martin (Bristol). Size is 3.9 x 3.9 inches, in very good condition.

Haitian-born American dancer (1918-2013) and choreographer. Fine trifold brochure signed and inscribed by him in 1986. Each page is 5.7 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian skater (1911-2003) known as the "Stilt-man". Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1944, shown in performance. Size is 8 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.

English ballet dancer and choreographer (1904-1983). Book "Ballet Go Round", signed and inscribed by him on the title page, next to his photograph. First edition by Michael Joseph Ltd., London, 1938, 355 numbered pages, hardcovers, no dust jacket, ownership stamp on frontend page, 5.75 x 8.6 inches, some wear on spine, in very good condition.

Famous American-French dancer (1878-1927), highly acclaimed in Europe, who died tragically in 1927. Signed photo postcard with a short sentiment ("I thank you for your kind thoughts"), size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Celebrated French dancer (1812-1894) whose married last name was Lyne-Stephens. 1-page autograph note signed by her as "Yolande L.S." dated 1889, with her initials as letterhead. Size is 4 x 6.2 inches, in very good condition, small envelope included. Rare!

Finnish-American dancer (b.1930). Beautiful photograph signed and inscribed by her to the Ukrainian ballet teacher Valentina Pereyaslavec (1907-1998); ink-stamped on verso by Friedmann-Abeles (New York). Size is 8.1 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

English dancer (b. 1951), who was principal ballerina at the Royal Ballet in London. Signed photo, shown in performance. Stamped on verso by photographer Alan Cunliffe, London. Size is 6.5 x 4.75 inches.

Duo of dancers and gymnasts. Nice black-and-white photograph signed by one of them on behalf of the duo with a short sentiment; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Yvonne, London. Size is 6.3 x 8.3 inches, small crack over the top-right border, otherwise in excellent condition.

American ballerina (b.1945) who came to prominence in the early 1960s in d'Amboise's Meditation (1963) and Dulcinea in Balanchine's Don Quixote (1965). Beautiful larger size black-and-white photograph signed by her on the mat with a short sentiment. Total size is 11.1 x 14.1 inches, minor stains, in excellent condition.

A wonderful set of 4 large-size, color photographs by famous performing arts photographer Costas, one signed by photographer, 3 are signed by dancers, one of them is unsigned. See details below. Costas Cacaroukas, aka Costas, Greek American dance photographer and photographer-in-residence for over 40 years for the NYC Ballet.  All photos are mounted on mats, where they were signed by the artists. - Suzanne Farrell signed photo in performance in "Tziganne", signature on the mat by dances, and also by photographer Costa, who dated this in 1979. - Suzanne Farrell and Peter Martins, in performance in "La Chaconne", signed by both dancers on the mat. - Jean-Pierre Frohlich signed photo in a rehearsal of "Apollo", next to George Balanchine, signature on mat. - George Balanchine curtain call photo, unsigned. Photos are approx. 13.4 x 10.3 inches (visible window size), total mat size is 20 x 16 inches. All in very good condition, with a couple showing a pinhole at the top and minor scratches.
