Program for a performance of the Martha Graham Dance Group at the Guild Theater, New York, on November 11, 1934, signed by the famous Russian choreographer and ballet dancer on the front cover. Size is 7 x 9.4 inches, 4 pages (4th page mounted on soft cardboard), central fold, in very good condition.

Russian dancer and choreographer (1896-1979), signed book "To The Ballet", first edition, 1935, also signed by author and ballet expert Irving Deakin (English, 1895-1959), who dated his signature in Chicago, 1936. Signatures are on first page, 178 pages, 4.75 x 7.5 inches, hard covers, overall age toning, in overall very good condition.

French-born ballet dancer (1924-2004), who had a very important international career in Europe and the USA. dancing for the Ballet Russe company under Massine, the ABT, Marquis de Cuevas company, and other important companies, and became a teacher at Julliard School for many years. Signed photo, shown in performance, 8 x 10 inches, inscribed, dated in 1960 when she was part of the Grand Ballet du Marquis de Cuevas in Paris, in excellent condition.

A fine photograph of the dancer by Annemarie Heinrich (also ink-stamped by her) signed and inscribed with a short sentiment by Mollajoli, here shown very young. Size is 4.5 x 6.8 inches, small pinhole at the top, ink writing a bit faded but still readable, in very good condition.

French dancer (1821-1877), choreographer, and ballet master. Hand-written contract in German with his signature on page 3, probably from Vienna. Size is 8.25 x 13.4 inches, central fold, in very good condition. Very Rare!

Program for a performance of Ballets de Monte-Carlo at Theatre de Monte-Carlo from April 4 - 28, 1936, signed by many dancers, including Anatole Oboukoff, Boris Romanoff, Heléne Kirsova, Michel Panaieff, Adda Pourmel, Rene Blum, Nicolas Zvereff, Vera Nemtchinova, Maria Ruanova, Gilbert Baur, Nina Nikitina, and many others. Size is 5.5 x 7.5 inches, full program with all pages and covers, some wear on the covers, in overall very good condition.

American dancer, teacher and dance writer (1911-1967). Signed book by Lifar, only 100 were published in alfama paper by Les Editions Nagel, Paris, 1950. A total of 320 numbered pages rebound in hardcovers, some illustrations, 5.5 x 8.75 inches. Original covers in poor condition with paper loss, but book is in very good condition.

French ballerina (1937-1986) who developed an important career as a dancer and as a teacher in France. Beautiful photograph signed by her, shown in performance.; stamped on verso by photographer Neuilly. Size is 4 x 6 inches, in excellent condition.

French ballet dancer (1921-?), who performed with Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo circa 1945. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown in rehearsal; ink-stamped on verso by Studio Iris (Paris). Size is 7.1 x 9.3 inches, some creases, in very good condition.

Argentine ballet dancer (1929-1971). Program for a ballet performance at Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires, on July 10, 1960, signed by the famous Argentine dancer and also by dancers Michel Renault, and Liane Dayde. Sie is 6 x 9 inches, full program with all pages and covers, in very good condition.

Argentine ballet dancer (1929-1971) who died tragically on an air crash along with other members of Teatro Colon Ballet Estable including star ballerina Norma Fontenla. Fine black-and-white photograph signed by him on verso, shown in a performing pose. Size is 4.7 x 7 inches, in very good condition.

South African dancer (1927-2008), one of the most important ballerinas of the Royal Ballet in the 1950s and 1960s.  Black-and-white promo photo postcard signed by her, shown in "The Sleeping Beauty". Size is 3.5 x 5.3 inches, in excellent condition.

South African dancer (1927-2008), one of the most important ballerinas of the Royal Ballet in the 1950s and 60s.  Signed pointe shoe, dated by her in 1961, she also wrote "Fille Mal Garde", the name of the ballet she performed using this shoe. Nerina created the role of Lise in this ballet by Frederick Ashton, in the world premiere of 1960.  Size is 8.5 x 3 inches approximately.

American ballet dancer, choreographer and director (b.1939). He has been the director and chief choreographer of Hamburg Ballet since 1973, later he became the director of the Hamburg State Opera. In 1992 he received the Prix Benois de la Danse as a choreographer.  Signed photo postcard, shown as himself. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches.

American ballerina (b.1959), former principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, retired in 2007 after 33 years. Signed pair of pointe shoes, used in performance, both are signed. Approx. size is 3.5 x 8.75 inches, in good condition.

Biography of the great Russian dancer, written by his wife Romola, who signed on the front end page. First edition, ninth printing, hardcovers, in English, contains some photos. Size is 6.5 x 9.5 inches, 448 pages, light age toning, in very good condition, dust jacket in good condition.

Russian ballet dancer (1890-1950) and choreographer, probably the most celebrated male dancer in the entire history of dance. Original front cover of the magazine "L´Illustration", published in Paris on May 22nd, 1909, right after his debut in Paris at age of only 19!. Nijinsky caused quite an impression in the Parisian public, and this publication calls him "The French Vestris" (referring to famous French dancer Auguste Vestris (1760-1842)) on the front cover. Boldly signed by Nijinsky in diagonal, in black ink, across the lower right corner and next to his image dancing in the ballet "Le Pavillion D´Armide" (Fokine, with music by Nikolai Tcherepin, world-premiered in St. Petersburg, 1907), presented in Paris for the first time in May 1909 by the Sergei Diaghilev company, with a very young Nijinsky. This is an exceedingly rare item from a crucial moment in young Nijinsky´s career, now starting outside Russia, on tour.  Autographed front cover is 11 x 15.25 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a full magazine, unsigned, containing the article about his debut, in French, and a separate, 2-page translation into English (see scans of translation and the article page).    

Russian ballet dancer (1890-1950) and choreographer, probably the most celebrated male dancer in the entire history of dance.  Beautiful card signed and inscribed by him dated in Buenos Aires, 1913, attached with a small half-tone photograph of him. Size is 5.5 x 3.5 inches, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned photograph of him in Le Spectre de la Rose mounted on cardboard. Size is 5.3 x 8 inches, in very good condition.

Russian ballerina (1904-1978), teacher, and opera singer, who joined the Diaghilev's Ballet Russes in 1929. Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated in London, April 1930, shown dancing. Size is 8.2 x 10-75 inches, ink-stamped on verso by photographer S. Georges (London), small repaired crack over the top-right, otherwise in excellent condition.
